Here in Ft. Lauderdale, local Lowes hardware was selling xmas trees (any) for $10 each, and whatever-you-could-fit-in-a-shopping-cart (holiday related) for $40 a cart.
It was a zoo, cleared out by now (my buddy called me at 10:30 and we just got finished checking out) but his "total" was almost $800, minus discount = $60 for 2 trees and literally a truckload of decorations.
Sad, people were stocking up on 4-6 trees a person... but it was a heck of a deal! Curious to see if any other Lowes did the same...
Edit: Guess it was a fluke - wow, can't imagine a single store manager having the cajones to get rid of the inventory that fast... literally the whole christmas section was bare in 5 hours
