Big time mixup.

I had this defective RAM that I had sent for an RMA last september 3. I received a confirmation e-mail from the guy i am contact from them who says that the RAM is on their possesion and is on que for repair and was told he would inform me if any developments comes (either they will fix the RAM or replace it with a new one).....Anyway I try to e-mail him a couple of times again to ask about the RAM's status and said that there were still a lot of modules in front of it and he had no idea on when it will actually be checked. I said to myself, "damn, for a big company their really taking a long time for checking a single module!"
After nearly two weeks of receiving the RAM I decide to call him(through dialpad...sorry guys long distance calls arent that cheap!)....anyway i try to verify the status of the RAM through customer service and was told the RAM was already sent two weeks or so earlier....now this is weird...i give them my RMA number and it turns out to be something else....Now they pass me over to the guy i was actually corresponding and to make a long story short, he says that there was a mixup on the actual RMA number he had given. He says that they have not actually received any confirmation on the RAM's arrival on their office. He is asking me now to go verify with the PO here in Kuwait if they(viking components) had actually received and signed the RAM...Now this is weirder, considering he wrote me this:

<< It is in the rework area and I do not have a report from them yet. If it can not be repaired then I will e-mail you back >>

and this as well:

<< It has not been shipped. We have other RMA on repair that was in front
of yours. I do not know when that module will ship or when it will be
repaired. If the module can not be repaired they will then inform me then I
will inform you.
>>

I will try my best to get something from my PO; but expecting the worse that the PO cant really confirm anything, what can I do?

The guy from viking is either really mistaken or he was definitely pulling my leg(after claiming that the RAM was on repair for the whole period, then says its not on their possesion!).

If somebody here works for viking components or has any advice on what i should do please let me know:)
