Not that Tyson is a saint but considering the other two guys attacked him with an object from the hotel lobby it looks like Tyson was defending himself.

#1 from the sounds of this it seems like he was attacked. Anyone
would defend themselves.

#2 LOTS of people would pick fights with Mike.

Reason A: For the possible chance of a law suit if Mike breaks their Jaw.

Reason B: Just for the fun of it. To be able to brag that you have fought
Mike Tyson before. May sound stupid but look at people who
run on baseball fields for their 2 min of fame!

#3 Mike is mentally disturbed person. I would be too after
all he has been through. Mike has done some bad things
to people even if he wasn't guilty of rape. But he is a fighter
and some people have done very bad things to him too.

Point is.. The rape BS is over. Let the man try to move on with his life. He
served 3 yrs hard time for the alleged rape. How long did OJ serve for

You're being too kind. The man is an animal in human's clothing. You need listen to only any interview he's ever been in if you want evidence. He's a raving lunatic such like the world rarely sees. No doubt he'll end up in jail again one day. It's his destiny.

Well I think Tyson's statement went something like, 'I didn't rape her, but had I known I would go to prison for it anyway, I would have raped her.'

If you're going to do the time, might as well do the crime. Not an uncommon nor even an unreasonable sentiment, provided that Tyson is telling the truth.

I don't know whether Tyson raped the woman or not. Tyson is no angel, but then not many people are and that doesn't make them rapists.

It all seems like a likely story. What the hell was she thinking when she went up to Tyson's hotel room after a night of drinking/clubbing together, they were going to play Uno and read Nancy Drew? Paint each others toenails and talk about boys?

Given the number of false rape allegations hovering around 40~50% and the number of men exonerated in the last several years by DNA evidence nationwide after rotting in prison for 18 years falsely convicted of rape, I'm suspicious of any rape allegations which don't have physical injuries to back it up.

The presence of semen is not evidence of rape. Its evidence of sexual intercourse, which can be just as consentual as non-consentual (in fact I'm reasonably sure there are 1000x more consentual 'depositions' of semen than non-consentual). Need something more than that to send a man to prison for 20 years. But many juries convict on less...

I was being sarcastic for one... BUT why did he say hed rape her mom too.. Thats just stupid. Whether it was a "if im being accused of it, i might as well do it anyways", or not.
 
I am very disappointed in Tyson but the poor fellow has been used by literally hundreds of people as a gravy train. Most of them had enough sense to bail early b/c he's a disaster waiting to happen. The last decent person in his life was Cus D'Amato. He was no saint but he genuinely cared about Tyson's well-being.

According to my legal eagle friends . . . Tyson would have walked like OJ (guilty or not . . . well except OJ was guilty) if he had a real criminal lawyer. I think Tyson was represented by a tax attorney or something. Rape is abhorrent and anyone guilty of rape should face serious sanction but my personal opinion (no real knowledge or facts) is that Tyson got a bum deal . . . in part b/c he's a dumb bum, the people around him are money whores, and everybody likes the spectacle of a fallen champion.
