Big socks - Where can I find em

You know what they say about guys with big feet? They wear big socks.

Really difficult to find socks for big feet. 99% of them are made for shoe sizes 6-12. Won't do any good for my 14 6E foot. I don't like New Balance socks. Only looking for low cuts, too.

Hanes Big and Tall at Walmart, Kmart etc. Inexpensive.

Edit: JC Penney is a good source for reasonably priced big clothing.

Weird, I always look at JC penny and Sears for socks but never find anything big, looking in the wrong place perhaps. I've very picky when it comes to fabrics also, so that doesn't help my cause. Definitely gotta get a feel before buying, so that leaves out online purchases. 100% Cotton will do.

Even though you don't want on-line purchases, you COULD use some on-line sites to find the brand of sock you like...then to to a B&M store to check out the same sock in a smaller size. Material and construction probably won't change too much.

I don't have the monster feet you have, but I do have Flintstone feet. Usually somewhere between 11 and 12 4E, so I understand the difficulty of finding a good fit in footwear.
