Big Router Problem keep Shuting down internet

Ok here is the problem i got a apple g5 and an p4 wired on the same router Brodband internet (Cable)
so everytime i use letys say counter strike steam on my p4 internet dies on the two computers
it hapens when i browse web pages to it just dies somethimes in 5 min somethimes in 10 maby more
anyone know what the problem is ?

Do you have to reset the computers or the router? Can the machines still ping each other?

Yah i only play counter strike and n0cmonkey yes i gotta reset the router logoff windows and login
the apple works when i reset hte router

You can try resetting it to factory defaults, change the admin password and see if that helps. If not, I'd either give them a call or buy a new one. Unless someone has a better suggestion, I've never owned one. 😱

yeah it is a net gear MR814v2 i tried reset didnt work same thing

Have you updated the BIOS? I had the same problem and updated the BIOS and it fixed it. It started again a couple weeks later but stopped after a day or two.

sounds like a router issue.

update the bios of the router, and if that fails, look for a refund/repalcement
