does your monitor have a DVI connection or analog? if you can try to switch from both of them. I had problems with my monitor not picking up a signal until i switched the DVI. Another thing you could do is power off everything and unplug the PSU and reset the video card on the blue slot with the single card selector side into the slot housing. then try again. You could also try to use a PCI video card for the moment and see if it works.

It's most likely your RAM if you are using old stuff. You could try just running one stick in slot B1 and see if it will boot.

Not being able to hear the beep code makes this really difficult. I would suggest trying to come up with a speaker, maybe borrow from a friend who owes you a favor or something. Alternatively, you could try plugging a pair of headphones or speakers into the audio out and see if the POST voice reporter has anything to say.

you mean i do not need a pc speaker that i can connect to the board internally? i do have a creative 2.1 inspire something. can that do the beeping without the comp loading any sound drivers?

The onboard sound can output the POST voice report when both this feature and onboard sound are enabled in the BIOS. You can try plugging a pair of headphones or speakers into the sound output of the onboard sound controller and see if anything is reported. If not, you will need to try to come up with a speaker that you can connect to the mainboard so you can get a beep code to help diagnose the problem. Or you could always wait til your new RAM comes and see if it runs then.
