SpiderMan 3 - 1st was good, 2nd one not so much, this is a rental for me
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End - Didn't like the first, didn't watch the second, won't watch this one
Ocean's 13 - 11 was good, 12 sucked, reserving judgment on 13 because of cast yet again
Die Hard 4 (aka: "Live Free or Die Hard") - Love the series. Can't wait
Transformers - I don't care
The Simpsons Movie - I don't care
The Bourne Ultimatum - Rental for me
Rush Hour 3 - Can't wait
Shrek 3 - I don't care

I'm not really interested in seeing any of them. Transformers has some hideous robot designs, which make the robots look like piles of scrap, plus I've heard the script sucks and spends too much time on the humans. As to Spider-man 3, the first two movies were just unrelenting misery, and way way WAY too much emphasis on him being whipped by MJ. I don't like Venom, I don't like Sam Raimi, or his brother Ted, and I don't like Toby Maguire. The shame is, I was really impressed by James Franco's acting skills in II (Harry Osborne) but seeing him flying on a snowboard and wearing an X-Treme paintballers mask really killed any interest I had in the movie.

How did Fantastic Four 2 and the new Harry Potter not make your list of big movie releases?

I will see most of the big movies. Blockbusters with big special effects are the main reason I go to the theater. For the movies that are good without the impressive visuals/sound there's no reason not to watch them at home on my 51" hdtv.

If you don't go to the theater, you're missing out on the full experience! People talking on their cell-phone in the middle of the movies, babies shrieking, steping on gum, paying $40 for food and tricks, people heckling the movie obnoxiously, and people who's friends have to explain every single scene so they understand it? :D
