Big Monitors

I just read a thread that had some good deals (I think) on 21 "inchers". That's nice, and all, but what's bigger?

Sony used to sell a 24" widescreen Trinitron.. It's no longer in production, but you can still find it second-hand (and it's still pricey).

You can always hook up a 42" plasma HDTV and use that as a monitor (many of them have DVI inputs)... But then you have to worry about uneven pixel wear. 😀

What do you need the monitor for? I have a 19in and couldn't imagine going any bigger, especially for a CRT.

As wisdomtooth mentioned, the 24" Sony... or the 28" Intergraph Interview.

There are two versions of the Sony, one uses a Trinitron tube and the other uses a FD Trinitron tube:

I personally would just get a "square" 21" CRT. It's much harder to adjust the focus and convergence on a wide CRT.
