I work at EBX and we take back pretty much anything within the 14 day return policy... this one guy comes in once a week and exchanges the game he bought the week before for something new. Kinda cheap if you ask me, but whatever. If the games are opened we only give store credit, but that is fine if all you want to do is 'rent' a new game every week or two like this guy.

And btw, we are selling our refurb xboxes for $150 (and I'm pretty sure that is national).

Technically, yes... just one exchange per purchase. But from what I've observed, the other employees in my store don't really care. As long as it is in fairly new condition and within the 14 day return policy, we just shrink wrap it and resell it as brand new... kinda gay, but wutever.

I bought my copy of 2k3 for 29.99--and I thought it was a steal--this is the best football game I have every played, hands down. It took me a week to get good enough at least year's madden that I could score at will--after about a month, the rookie mode of this thing is still beating me down--it's quite a bit of fun on Live also--but there are a lot of cheaters (sega is working on that though)--all in all--for twenty bucks, this is a must own.

I get to return my Xbox Live kit today to EB Games. They said on the phone they would swap it for a new one. I don't know what my problem is, but no one hears me when playing lately. This annoys some people because they think I am ignoring them. The thing that troubles me is that they want my CD as well. I guess this means I will have two Live accounts? I think it would make more sense for them to keep the unused cd/account.

If I can remember correctly, isn't there a $10 rebate for NFL2K3 from MS? So, using MSN Holiday link (less $4) at CC, then applying the rebate (less $10), you could possibly get this for around $6.......?

I printed out the rebate coupon several weeks ago and had bought NFL2K3 at BB on 11/30 for $29.99 - I just cant find the rebate coupon yet. They (BB) did a price adjustment last night ($11.80) off, and since I had used a $5 off BB coupon initially, then if I get the rebate of $10, I will have bought the game for around $4 plus tax.........not too shabby as it has only cost me $14 as of today.

No, the rebate is for MS's NFL Fever '03. NFL2K3 is made by Sega.

YMMV, as I'm sure has been mentioned here, Blockbuster has games for buy 2 get 1 free. They had all the Sega 2K3 games for $24.99, so 3 for $50. NBA, NFL and MLB.
