I can't believe how it's nothing but crickets and tumbleweeds in this thread after so many great deals have been found and shared. Has TallGeese given up on his (virtual) baby? When people see it hasn't been updated in over 2 months, how useful can it be? Too bad.:brokenheart:

I think he's been busy with his newborn. If it's not a problem, I can try and take over the list from TallGeese.

I figured he was taking care of the 2nd Princess TallGeese, but he WAS active immediately after the birth. First things first - he needs to be a good daddy than a den other to a bunch of ganer geeks and all respect for even starting something like this.

I rarely checked the master list anyways (always too far out of date and single week sales left on forever), but the daily "[Game name] is on sale for only $9.99 at EB B&M! Hurry!" hunt was a thrill.

Sorry guys, for the lack of attention to the BIG LIST.

MTG and I have been going through a rough time right now with our 5 month old.
We go for more tests soon, to help decide a course of action which might involve surgery.

So...please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Stealth, YGPM

Absolutely. No one can blame you for having your priorities in order. If you were doing this list over taking care of your family, we'd hit you with a stick!

I hope things come out well for your family. Thank you for all you've done.:)

not sure if this was ever noted, but i stopped by fye yesterday to see if that $30 rebate deal was still available and it is still running apparently. however, its for the console + controller only (no sega pack) and you have to buy a dvd remote or controller and a 19.99 or up game. still might be a good deal for some, but i passed.

also, if you were going to jump on the overstock refurb deal, its $1 shipping till friday sitewide i believe, so itll save ya 2 bucks if u order now...

EBGames.com has High Heat Baseball 2004 for the XBox for $29.99. Other retailers including Amazon are selling this game for $49.99, so you save $20 with this deal.

How does this compare to the other Baseball games for XBox. I know either OXM or EGM did an article ranking the best baseball games for XBox, but I forget the results of the article.

High Heat is the best baseball simulator out there.

And to me, it's the funnest.

It's definitely not the best looking, but it looks good enough. The audio isn't great either, but the play mechanics are fantastic. Defin worht the $

In my opinion, it's Sega's baseball game, World Series Baseball
To each his own, I suggest renting or borrowing from friends

HH2004 is so good they managed to predict who is going to be on what team a year in advance! Wow, what prognosticators! In case you can't tell, I hate marketing types that mislabel games, especially baseball when the whole season takes place in one year.

In any event, I'm a fan of WSB2k3 (they even got the year right) even though they got the color of the Braves' hat wrong (Dodger blue) but TP2003 also got props. Never played HH2004 tho.

While technically not a Hot Deal, it is a Great Value - Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is the first game I've bought in ages that I wouldn't have minded plunking down the whole $50 for.:Q Granted, I had coupons that brought it down to $30 (Media Play Rewards), but I've been hooked hard and whenever I'm at the g/f's, I'm playing it. I was up until 4 am (get up for work at 6:30, ugh) playing because the "Just gotta see what's next" factor is off the charts.

Unless Half-Life 2 totally lives up to the hype - which I don't doubt it will - this is a solid GOTY contender, at least on consoles.
