Holy shiznit! The Xbox list has been updated :p

Anyone else at the point where deals are passed up because of too many games already sitting at home in shrinkwrap?

Oh great...more astute commentary from the peanut gallery! ;)

Mmmmmm...maybe passing up deals that I would try to use for trade-ins, but otherwise...no.

LOT of good stuff coming soon for Xbox, as in: Soul Calibur II, Crimson Skies, PGR2, Starcraft Ghost, Ninja Gaiden. WHAMMO! There goes my bank account. :D

BTW: I scored not 1, but 2 Saitek Adrenaline Wheels for my Xbox, for $14.99 apiece. Clearance at a best Buy I found on a recent trip to Ohio. Regular price is $30 apiece.

BTW2: unable to use a GG $5 off coupon tho. Bummer. Even chatted up the salesgirl, who was willing to do it, but the manager (GRRRRR!) vetoed it. :frown:

Ahhh, forgot about trade-ins. I have several Gamecube games that I picked up for $9.99 that I may trade in towards Enter the Matrix for Xbox or one of those games you mentioned. Crimson Skies is a great game, but I won't touch it if it is the same story as the PC game.

Do yourself a favor and rent it first. I'm glad I picked it up at gamestop, not EB (gamestop still takes returns, EB doesn't)

C Skies on Xbox will have some of the same characters, but is a TOTALLY different storyline...so not a re-hashing of the PC game.

And now that it will support Live squadron play...I'M ALL OVER IT BABY!!!!

I've heard that advice from others about EtM...cool controls and moves, but kinda flat overall.

Has anyone played that TransWorld Surf game? I saw it's going to be cheap at Best Buy this weekend. The reviews I've seen have been pretty mixed.

I liked the setting of Crimson skies. I know I am a dork, but it kind of reminds me of rocketeer time/setting, which I liked. But as far as the plot goes it was um....lacking.

I am all over this game when it comes out though.

I keep reading this thread, though I still haven't move the plunge into purchasing an X-Box as of yet (maybe next payday) :) I guess the prices aren't going to drop to $150 clams? Also, all this trade-in talk got me thinking...do they let you trade-in Atari games? :) I just moved and discovered a box I haven't seen in years...filled with a *bazillion* Atari games I hated to part with :)

Keep up the great thread, tallgeese and the rest of you x-box geekers :)

The FYE/Cocounuts/Strawberries console deal posted ends up being $150.

Depending on the condition and rareness of the title (BIG factor...most titles aren't rare), Atari carts can be relatively valuable.

It's Saturday and some interesting deals abound:

K-Mart:

Rollercoaster Tycoon - $27.99
Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters - $39.99

Beast Buy:

Transworld Surf, Dark Alliance - $9.99
FREE $25 GC instantly with purchase of Xbox system and Brute Force (as lists Xbox @ $199, but that's lead time talking, I think)
Wolverine's Revenge, Splinter Cell - $34.99

Circuit City:

TWO bonus games (NBA Inside Drive and PGR are pictured) with Xbox purchase (listed as $199)
FREE Mad Catz controller w/purchase of Brute Force ($49.99)
$10 GC instantly with purchase of Hulk @ $49.99 (any format)

CompUSA:

Save $10 w/purchase of Xbox Live Starter Kit and Return to Castlevania Wolfenstein

I thought I saw someone offer a free strategy guide to Brute Force w/purchase, but can't find it now.

What is this Return to Castlevania Wolfenstein that you speak of? Is it like Dracula turns Hitler into a vampire and decides to hangout at Castle Wolfenstein? Do you get a whip? ;) .. Just bustin your chops.

I just got EtM, its a pretty good game, especially if you're into the whole Matrix storyline, but the game itself isn't really that great ... its mostly story driven. But 1080i EtM is awesome! ;)

With the Matrix, you just have to know what to expect. And a big need to want to know all about the Matrix makes the expierence much mor enjoyable :)
