The 20% is always there. The 25% and 30% are much rarer.

Just thought I would say that Outpost.com and Fry's b&m are totally seperate. I worked at Fry's for a year and this was a BIG pain in the ass. People would always come in and see something on Outpost and want a pricematch in store....but it's Fry's policy to not pricematch online, even if the site is owned by them. So if you see a deal at Fry's, it won't be online, and if it's online, it won't be in Fry's.

Does anyone know if BB or CC will Price match with Sam's Club? If yes, I was thinking to get them to PM Splinter Cell (29.99 at sam's club) and use the GGC to get an additional $5 off and get it for $ 25.

Is this possible?

Extreme YMMV. None of my BB or CC will pricematch a warehouse club, but my warehouse club WILL PM other warehouse clubs. Also none of my BB or CCs will PM and then take a GC coupon on top, but others have posted success (shrug).

The official stance is no since it is a warehouse club, but depending on the CSR they may let the pm go thru but they wouldnt also allow a coupon on top of that.

Talked to a Toys R US employee, and he said that they will have a special next week:

The Sega Bundle + xtra controller (s type?) + Project Gotham Racing + Splinter Cell.

He wasn't sure about the price, but thought it may be 249.99.

Will run for 1 week only.

Good deal if u want those games.

I'm wondering if they want to get rid of the Sega bundles b4 the rumored 3-game sets are coming out. BTW, any news on that set, which is supposed to come out around 2/25, or did I just read some rumors last week? Thanks.

This is SERIOUS YMMV stuff, but Blockbuster is giving $3 off whatever their price is for used games and I picked up Aggressive Inline for $6.99 tonight. Other $9.99 titles included the craptaculars Legends of Wrestling and New Legends. Burnout and Enclave were $14.99. I repeat YMMV and most of the games are crap.

Can anyone can confirm the price of this upcoming bundle? That would be SMOKING at $249.99!

Target has Ghost Recon and Mech Assault for $39.88 until Feb. 15.

I'm gonna see if I can PM at Best Buy and use one of the 10% off preferred customer weekend coupons to get'm down to around $35 (unless, of course, someone knows of a better deal!).

Oh, and a massive shout out to TallGeese for maintaining this quality thread.

i heard obi-wan sucked, but im gonna go try to PM BB this weekend to get this. So far I have PM'd my xbox to them 2 times (got free controller and NFLFever 2002), hopefully this will make 3. Then I'll have gotten my xbox sega bundle and $60 worth of other crap for $200.

I'll prolly take Obi-Wan and NFL Fever 2002 over to CC and exchange them for a store credit. Any suggestions on what to get??? I have Halo, MSG2 and the segagt/jsrf combo pack already. I'm thinking Splinter Cell and maybe another game if I return my xbox Live.

btw, anyone know when the 2004 football games come out? im kinda wanting a football game, but if the 2003 versions will be obsolete in a few months, ill hold off. thanks.

Nicely done, my man! You're racking up a combo PM worthy of inclusion as a trick in the next version of Tony Hawk! :D

Depends on what you like:

* If you have Live and like action shooters, then MechAssault
* If you don't have Live and like rail shooters, then Panzer Dragoon Orta
* If you like YYD games, then Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball
* Indiana Jones looks VERY promising (the demo kicks ass)
* Put it toward Steel Battalion, if you are a TOTAL Mech freak who doesn't mind spending money to feed your addiction (like me ;))

Good idea. I haven't seen any release date info...but I don't play sports games, so I never look for it either.

We're thinking it may even be next week before the delivery. The Princess was a week late.

MechAssault demo is on this month's OXM demo disc, which might save ya some rental fees. The demo will let you play a mission from the SP campaign, but can't try out Live with it unfortunately :(

Prolly a good 6 months before I'm playing with any regularity again :(

Not a Hot Deal per se, just a heads-up to get your pre-orders in QUICK for this one!
LucasArts today announced that Indiana Jones and the Emperor?s Tomb has gone gold for the Xbox, and will ship on February 25th.
From PlanetXbox.com

BTW: A demo of this game is included on this month's OXM disc.

Dammit I wanna play this game. I sent in my OXM free issue thingie (that comes with the xbox) a month ago. I got my bill today (for the remaining 11 issues), but where is my free issue. I wanna try the IJ demo. Not to mention the MA demo. Damn you OXM!!

Also Games I recommend from buying them all thanx to this thread:
Halo, SSX Tricky, and BUFFY!!!

I also have the 2 from the Tom Clancy series: Ghost Recon & Splinter Cell. I havent played SC much yet...actually only once. Been playing GR a bit recently and it seems pretty cool. I think as most games are...it's more fun with more than 1 player. I'll prolly end up with Rainbow Six: Raven Shield when it comes out too.

Speaking of which. According to IGN, Raven Shield is expected to come out September 2003. Is that correct, 'cause I was in a store that was taking pre-orders already....isnt that a bit early then?

As for sports games: The Sega 2k3 series I believe came out last August. I dunno if it was delayed due to Live implementation or that's when most games come out. Dunno if that helps...

I guess I'm retarded....even EBgames.com has it listed as shipping on 9/23/2003. They're taking pre-orders too. It's gonna be Live enabled...nice. The screen shots look awesome:

Hummercash, I take it you aren't a football fan..? New football games generally come out at the start of the football season so that generally means Aug or Sept (you know the SuperBowl was like less than a month ago, right? :)) OTOH, that means last (this past) year's games are pretty cheap. NFL2k3 should be less than $30, at one point I think someone had it on sale for like $15 or $20. Fever03 should be in the same price range. Dunno about Madden as that is not Live enabled (thus no interest to me). Oh, NCAA 2003 (from EA) is $19.95 at Best Buy and NCAA 2k3 should be about the same or less than $30 anyway. I believe neither are Live enabled.

Also, IMHO it's a bit shady to return a free copy of something to another retailer, but be that as it may, I don't think either title will get you much in credit. Obi-wan was just announced as a PH title and Fever02 could be even less ($10-15?). Definately pick up a subscription to OXM as the demos will be helpful for future purchases. I agree with TG, that new Indy game rocks (then again, I loved Buffy and same engine).

I'll prolly end up with Rainbow Six: Raven Shield when it comes out too.

DCM, hell yeah! GR is one of my favourite titles and all the more so on Live. R6:RS looks to be very cool too.
