Yes they are! and it's all the full retail packages. So you know what that means....

Thanks for the help this week - if we can get some more hot deal reports from the field, this can EASILY become the biggest and busiest of the console deals threads. My picks for the deals of the week are the Interact Multitap @ best buy for $9.99, Dynasty Warriors 4 @ Target for $37.88 (PM @ CC = $36.67), and Amplitude @ Circuit City for $39.99. The bargain buy of the week is probably Red Faction for $9.99 @ KB Toys. Keep the deals coming - the community contributions this week REALLY beefed up the list!

Amplitude is 29.99 @ BB

EB games $9.99 games deal keeps getting better! Or rather, CC's 110% pricematch, combined with EB games $9.99 games keeps getting better!

At my local CC, Mark of Kri was $29.99 ($7.99 after pricematch) and Wipeout Fusion was $49.99 ($5.99 after pricematch!). YMMV if your local CC still has ridiculous prices on these, I had figured that both would have been dropped down to $19.99 by now! I didn't do a price check, but Gungrave also still said $49.99, so there's probably a decent pricematch there with target at $12.88.

Ah, checked online and it's $19.99 there, so I'm sure that's what it is at the B&M. Not so hot for a pricematch.

Anything Pre-owned at Gamestop and Software Etc. is buy 2 get 1 free
titles for all systems and any accessories included.
I called a couple of store around the twin cities metro area to confirm.

I generally think their pre-owned prices are a touch high, especially on newer games, but pick up 3 of the newest games that usually sell for $44.99 now they are $29.99.
Or pick-up 3 PS2 controlers for 13 bucks a piece.
Not a bad deal on pre-owned at all.

If you want Mark of Kri or Wipeout Fusion, it looks like the door is closing on these! Mark of Kri back up to $23.99 online at EBGames.com, Wipeout Fusion is only available pre-owned at $17.99. Go check your local B&M EB, they might still have them at $9.99.

The current EB $9.99 (half-decent) game list:

Fantavision
Red Faction
State of Emergency
Mad Maestro

Fry's in Austin has Xenosaga advertised for 37.99. You can PM this if you want to CC or BB for 36.79. I tried to PM and use the gamer's gift card at BB but got shot down (coupon for 5 off on back of jewel cases located at registers or game section). I think some other people have successfuly done PM and coupon so who knows - YMMV. I instead went down the street and got it PM'd at CC easily. For reference, best price found on pricegrabber was 47.99 shipped at newegg.

Some more good deals that I've found recently:

Ratchet & Clank is $19.99 at your local Blockbuster (also Metroid Prime and Resident Evil 0 for the Cube are $19.99, the full list, although without prices, is here).

Also, my local Target had Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer for $12.99. It wasn't marked at all and as usual YMMV.

Me too, although I think I can wait for the next price drop. Maybe at some upcoming gaming convention, I forget what it's called, sometime in April... jeez this is probably the most worthless post ever. Sorry!

This was posted as a thread by itself, but just to make sure people see it that look here:

Media Play is giving away a free PS2 network adapter this week when you buy Everquest for $19.99. That is, assuming that some jerk hasn't gone in and bought their entire stock to go sell on Ebay. I had to search around until I found a Media Play that had limited sales to one per person, all the rest were completely wiped out. =(

curse ye!

i got a new PS2 with an additional controller for $169 at egay

I am planning to get:

Tekken 4
Xenogear
DDRMax with cobalt flux pad

Not sure if it is fitting or not, but you can get a refurb PS2 system at CompGeeks for $144. Right now there is a subscribers only deal that you get a Altec lansing subwoofer free and get more off with a code (i have it, you want it? email me). I will be getting mine for $136.95 shipped to my door.

Anyone wanna buy an original PS? I have a couple mem cards and 2 controllers with it.

I saw the sony brand memory card at target for 7.48. This is the non- 8mb in crimson red color. YMMV

Edited: Someone pointed out this was the ps1 memory card (only 4mb) although it will still work with the ps2.
