Target is offering Mario Sunshine in a blister pack with a free memory card 251. The same goes for Metroid.

Is the memory card 251 a 3rd party card? Or is it a Nintendo?

What does the blister pack retail for?

Thanks.

Same price as the regular game. I didn't get a look at the memory card since it was beind the glass case (and I already have SM:SS & MP). From the front, you could only see the game.

My local Wal-Mart has Metroid Prime for 19.99.....just in case anybody would be interested. 🙂 I thought about picking it up but decided to wait until I'd rented it to make sure that I wanted it. 🙂 jc

Trust me, you want it.

when i got my blister pack deal from target a while back, it's the nintendo brand memory card that comes with the game...

now if only they have mario party again ><;;

but then again, what should i do with three 251 memory card when i only have 14 games? o.o?

Picked up the star wars disk for a penny at the BB by my house today. They had them for awhile, but I didn't know they were only a penny, so I skipped over them. Then I was in last week (once I found out the cost), and they were out. In again today, they had a whole lot of them.

Sell one to me...I have metroid and mario, but only a gray memory card (thus why buying the Mario/Metroid Target deal above doesn't work for me)

FYI, Target B&M has the Animal Crossing (with an included Memory Card 59) + Memory Card 251 as a bundle for $29.99.
I'm going to Target after work today!

Is it just me or is EBGames.com doesn't charge tax? I took their 15% off Pre-order GC Games deal (same as the 15% off @ Gamestop, but Gamestop charge high shipping rate and tax) and pre-ordered VJoe, MK: Double Dash, & Final Fantasy:CC.

Sales tax in Nevada and Pennsylvania.

I knew waiting would help. I didn't order when they had the 10% off preorder, now it's 15% off. Much sweeter. Time to order Harvest Moon and FF:CC.

"EBGames.com has Super Monkey Ball 2 for the Nintendo GameCube for $19.99 (the preowned version is listed as $26.99 on their site). Other retailers Amazon are selling this game for $29.99. This game is an editor's choice at Amazon.

Thanks Engineer_J for the info!

GC: Super Monkey Ball 2 - $19.99"

EBGames.com has The Hulk for the GameCube on sale for $29.99. The preowned version is listed as $36.99. Don't forget that EBGames.com is offering 'EB Saver' shipping for $1.99.

Thanks captamericarocks for the deal info!

GC: The Hulk - $26.99

I went to both of the Targets in my area and niether had this deal. No memory card with mario, no memory card with metroid. Is this deal new or old? Is the package marked differently? Is it a different shape than the regular mario package?

This deal is fairly new. I guess it's YMMV since my local Target only has Mario Sunshine and Prime (2 of each left as of 2 days ago when I went to check the MS keyboard prices) with this deal while others have told me that Star Fox and Animal Crossing are also available with the free memory card (I've yet to see it).

The packaging is a simple red blister pack.

I doubt it. I've emailed EB about it and it's YMMV. They told me the prices online may not reflect the prices in individual stores. My local EB always has their prices too high. Dave Mirra BMX 2 is 9.99 online but $19.99 B&M.

I think the deal for the extra 251 memory card was for those four (?) games in a clear plastic package promoted exclusively at Target a while back. They simply lowered the price since those specific games had price drops anyway. Each store may only have a few left as they've had them in stock for a long time.

It looks like various Targets are clearing out some of their older GC games. I just picked up Need 4 Speed II Hot Pursuit for $6.84! 😀

This game is a blast! Especially the cop/speeder mode where one player has to catch the other in a speed trap. Excellent!

From what I heard from IGN, it's BAD. EVen though the Gamecube is superior to the PS2, the XBOX is the only console that got a perfect port. Instead, the Gamecube got a quick 2-month ground up recreation of the game and the rushed schedule shows.

Gamecube sales have quadrupled at the new $99 price (Sounds like an awful lot of people were SURE the price was gonna drop). Boy the leading thread really needs an update 🙂

BTW, I saw Metroid Prime @ Walmart for 19.88 so I guess Blockbuster is no longer cheapest 🙂

I scored a Metroid with free 251 memory card at Target in Union, NJ. Looked like the last one. $30 for the blister pack. Definitely YMMV.

Authentic Nintendo 251 memory card included free... $20 retail value.

Better than the $19.99 for Metroid Prime alone at Walmart...

not really since you can get 251s at best buy for $15 with the gamers coupon. metroid for 20 bucks is a steal, heck both games for these prices are a steal.
