I got a second Broadband adapter from Walmart... this time for $20 even!!!

It's from the same Walmart that was selling the other one for $30 even. THey apparantly tucked this one away to make it looks like they were selling out and put it back after I bought the "last" one. It stayed there until they reduced it a few more times. It's definately the same one that I saw there with the one I bought a week later.

Just so you guys know, the latest issue of EGM comes with a Best Buy coupon for $5 off Soul Calibur II on all 3 consoles. In case you get EGM and haven't preordered it, don't throw your issue away until you've grabbed the coupon. It's right next to the Soul Calibur II review so you can't miss it.

Sam's Club in Torrance (Los Angeles) had a few titles for $12.98. Some titles I remember - TimeSplitters 2, Evolution Worlds, ZooCube and a James Bond Game (the older one). They had more titles but these are all I can remember. They also had Mario Golf but it was $43 or so.

Small deal at Bestbuy.com if you plan on purchasing Madden 2004.

"For a limited time, when you buy Madden NFL 2004, you can save $10 on a Player's Choice title."

The 4 games you can save $10 with are: Luigi's Mansion, Super Monkey Ball 2, SpiderMan-The Movie and Star Wars Rogue Squadron II-Rogue Leader.

Prices (Free S/H as well, tax may apply to some states)
Madden 2004 & Luigi's Mansion: $49.99 + $29.99 - $10 coupon = $69.98
Madden 2004 & Super Monkey Ball 2: $49.99 + $29.99 - $10 coupon = $69.98
Madden 2004 & SpiderMan-The Movie: $49.99 + $19.99 - $10 coupon = $59.98
Madden 2004 & Star Wars Rogue Squadron II-Rogue Leader: $49.99 + $19.99 - $10 coupon = $59.98

Okay, since Soul Calibur II is on its way August 26th, here's a small list of pre-order deals:

Best Buy: $49.99 (or $44.99 after Gamer's Gift Card)
Circuit City: ?? (nothing on their website)
EB Games: $49.99 with Link cell art
Gamestop: $49.99 with Limited Edition Art Book and Bonus disc with playable demos
Amazon: $49.99, free shipping
Wal-Mart: $49.82
Target: $49.99, when you reserve your copy at Target B&M, you get a $5 gift card

So basically, it looks like if you want the best price, BB+GCC or Target are your best options, and if you want some free stuff, Gamestop's got you covered. The only question I have regarding the GameStop deal is what system the demos are for. Kill.Switch is PS2/Xbox only, and Tekken 4 is PS2 only, so I dont know if the Gamecube gets playable demos. I called a B&M Gamestop in town and they hadn't heard a word about a demo disc, because apparently at B&M GS you get the art book and a Lithograph (cell art). I'll email them and get back about it. If anybody finds any better deals/free stuff out there, post 'em. Only 12 days to go!

^^^ Oh snap.... I forgot to post a Soul Calibur deal from KBToys a month ago. They had a 20% off coupon or something so when I pre-ordered SC2 for $50, it took $10 off. It was $43.xx shipped. But there is not gifts like Link art or T-shirt, just the game.

Considering what happened after the last rumored price drop, I wouldn't hold my breath. Hell, at $150 + a free game or a GP Player I think that's already quite cheap... not even considering some of the system deals we've seen in this thread.

Actually, I think the odds of the GC dropping price in the near future is very high. While I agree that I think the current bundle deal is a steal as the GC is definitely my favorite of the 3 next gen systems. Unfortunately, most of the gaming public doesn't seem to be adopting GC the way they used to. Recently Nintendo announced that they are temporarily halting production of Gamecube consoles to get rid of the tons of backstock they already have. Chances are the only way they're going to able to move so much stock out of their warehouse is to drop the price. I'm guessing we'll see the price drop between now and some time in October. They'll want to drop it in time for the holiday season.

*sigh* yet another reason for me to wish I was near a frys. I really want this game, but just can't see paying $50 for a game everyone says can be beaten in 6-7 hours.

Just wanted to mention the Toys R US deal here, just in case anyone missed it.

Buy one of several different games, get one free this week. See thread for details.

For those who are not within a reasonable distance from a Fry's store, just print out the game section of the weekly ad, and Price Match at your local Best Buy or Circuit City. Good Luck!

Won't work. The pricematched store has to be within a 50 mile radius (in other words, they have to be a direct competitor).

The last couple times I went to fry's near portland they didn't have the same game prices that people post on here. Wario World was $45 not $30 and the week before GTA3 was $16 not $10. Donkey Kong Country wasn't $20 either.
