Could we please keep this thread on target ? It's for good deals on Gamecube stuff.

Not for stuff that is not a good deal on Gamecube or a console war.

If Sega or EA is not going to make a game for the Gamecube, there is no way that discussing it can possibly be a hot deal for the Gamecube, so discussing it here is just trying to start a console war.

I just got back from City of Industry Fry's... They have a bunch of All Star Baseball 2002 and Nfl Quarterback Club for $9.90.. Might be good to check this out and then use it for the eb trade in deal.

I might wanna add they also had a bunch of other games for 20 and 30 bux.

EB Games normally does not include Sports Titles in their trade in deals.

I just called Circuit City. They have the deal where you buy the normal gamecube and get one of the four games free there on the spot. However, this excludes the Mario Sunshine bundle. However, if you buy the Mario Sunshine Gamecube online and buy one of the four titles, there is a rebate form valid only for online purchases that is processed by Circuit City to get the extra game title free. You do have to wait 8 weeks, but Mario Sunshine Gamecube Bundle + Extra Game for $159.99 is a pretty good deal. Local sales tax applies (if any) and there is currently free shipping. The rebate is valid for purchases through 2/15/03.

rebate form

I called the 1-888-213-9761 number and they confirmed that DOLSGMS1 is in there system as a valid unit for this offer.

I don't think this has been posted yet, but it's pretty hot. Go to samgoody.com and do a search for ssbm, it lists as $29.99, but when you click on the link, it will show up as being on sale for $19.99!! This is not including the 10% off they have, which means it comes out to $17.99 before tax and shipping!! Standard shipping is less than $4 for me.

This is such a big list I didnt see if this came up -- but does anyone think this would work?

PM the GC w/mario @ CC ($139) to the GC w/mario @ Targert
then qualify for the additional free game (my choice RE0)
and on top of that pick up two games @ $19.99 [or higher]
which would give you the $50 GC?

I plan on buying a Xbox anyways so that $50 is as good as
cash too me if it works and that would be basicly a GC with
4 free games for $139 in that case.

Amazon has the same GC $150 deal with a game (1 of 4).
Thought that this might be helpful if anyone has an Amazon giftcard sitting around.
The games are Metroid, Starfox Adv, Mario Party 4, and Resident Evil Zero.
If you don't want any of those games, do a bit of research on ebay and see which one retails for the highest amount.
Also, I think I remember that you can trade in metroid at your local EB and get some kind of discount on Zelda Wind Waker.
Lastly, don't forget that the Zelda Pregames are out. I have heard rumors of people who ordered from EB getting theirs in the mail and some other people paying $15 to actually buy the pregame disk at the local target/walmart/video game vendor.

No..I'm not joing the other side. :p
Just wanted to point out a deal posted in the Xbox thread.

Universal MadCatz MC2 Racing Wheel (support XBox, PS2, PS2 and GC) for $14.98 on clearance at Target.
As with all Target deals...YMW(ill)V and you'd better move FAST if you want this!

Good luck!

NBA 2k3 for 14.99 at EBgames.com

Link

Probably the in-store price as well. YMMV at the store. Went to get my Zelda bonus disk this afternoon and they had no copies of 2k3 for GC.

Could someone please explain to me the $5 Best Buy Gamer gift card deal?
I've seen the card in a cd case at the store, but I'm not sure if I understand the benefit.
Is it that you are paying $5 for a $5 gift card?

Thanks!

you can put any amount of money you want on the gift card
you're basically just buying it so you get the coupon so when you make your purchase by the gift card first and then use the gift card and the coupon towards your purchase

GC for $140 @ CC isn't the Sunshine bundle. Unless you try and talk the employee into it.

Better check the expiration date on the coupon on back as I believe it ends sometime this month.

Also with the Sam Goody deal, I saw that if you reserve Zelda they give you a $10 digital coupon for a purchase of $39.99 or more. If you could use it with the coupon and the 10% off that'd be a pretty good deal I think. Sorry if somebody already posted this.

Anyone know if Samgoody.com includes the bonus games other places are offering with pre-orders of Zelda? I didn't find a reference to them on their website.

This became one really hot deal for me! I ordered 2 games SSBM and Silent Hill 2 for Xbox, and got the 10% off and also the $5 off. The kicker for me is that I'm a Replay member and I needed about 3000 points ($30 spending) to get another $5 award certificate.

So I paid $30.58 got free shipping, no tax and helped myself get another $5 certificate. So you could look at this as $25 for 2 really good games worth $50!

Long live AT hot deals forum!!!!

Along with NFL 2K3 and NCAA Football 2K3. Looks like the GC 2K3 line has all dropped to $14.99 @ EBGames, with the news of Sega's departure. I don't care much, not a huge sports game fan as you can get it on any system virtually, including the PC. But I may very well get NBA 2K3 for that cheap...
