Just a notice, I picked up this month's GamePro and the KB Toys coupon is not in there. There's a Best Buy coupon ($10 GC w/ $50 purchase). I guess it was in last month's. So if you don't read GamePro and just want to coupon, pick up January?s issue.

Bumping it back towards the top in case somebody is looking for it.

BTW, stay away from Wrestlemania X8. It's bad, real bad.

Swingerz is good because they say it is a very close ripoff of Hot Shots Golf on PS2. EGM reviewer stated that a lawsuit wouldn't surprise him.

Is it confirmed that Beach Spikers is $9.99 nationally? That would be really sweet. I'm gonna stop by my local BB after work and check it out.

For those with kids who've been awaiting a price drop on "Mickey's Magical Mirror", BB now has it at $19.99 (a $30 price drop).

The game is a point-and-click adventure with some pretty nice visuals, definitely geared toward younger kids. I wouldn't have bought it at $50, but it's an okay deal at $20. Made my seven year-old happy :)

Well, it's at least 9.99 in New Orleans. Shelf tag still had 49.99 on it, took it to cashier, it rang up as 9.99

Hey guys, i've been doing pretty well on games from Half.com. Just got new, sealed Tetris Worlds for $28 and change shipped. Got SSX Tricky a while back for around $18. Do a search on google and you'll come up with several $5 off $10 coupons and $15 off $50. So far i've just gone for new games. Don't really want to gamble with the mail order used. But prices on the used can get even cheaper.

Thanks for the heads up. A couple of my friends have younger kids. It will be fun for their kids to have some entertainment when visiting.

I have good experience buying used games from half.com, but you can also get good deals on hard-to-find games on eBay. I just bought Sega Soccer Slam, and that puppy is very hard to find, even on half.com. Beware, though, if you are also thinking about buying Soccer Slam, do not buy from Jugalanga.com; they are shady.

I would really reccomend editing that question out of your post dr_wily, the mods really frown on stuff like that

Sam's Club's selection can be very irritating at times. I went to Sam's Club that had Super Mario Sunshine for $42.99, but I didn't buy it then. A few days later I went to another Sam's Club that didn't have a trace of SMS. Sam's Club generally prices $50 games at $42.99, good luck finding exactly what you want though.

But, I'm going today to check on those deals because they are hot!

By the way for anyone in Michigan the Westland Best Buy had about 20 copies of Eternal Darkness in stock as of this evening.

I guess, the amazing deals during Christmas season have spoiled us. I still come here looking for a good deal like 5 times a day because of the amount of good deals during Christmas season. Is this post Christmas lull temporary or is it normally like this all year except Christmas?

I just got back from Sam's Club.

Gamecube
Animal Crossing $24.86
LOTR Twin Towers $29.86
probably other titles but those are the ones I carried to the register..:)

GBA
Metroid Fusion $14.86

None of these prices were on the items, but that is what they scanned at.

BTW, I don't have a Sam's club membership but customer service gave me a one day pass. Only drawback is you have to pay 10% up charge.

Also a stock guy told me they are getting in some video games for $18.99 soon, but he didn't know what titles.

Time to get Animal Crossing!

Dead Parrot Sketch, would you mind telling us which part of the country you found this? I called my local Sam's and the guy said that it was marked at $42.95 - I know you said that they rang up differently, I was just wondering if they marked it at exactly $42.95 in your case also. The nearest Sam;s is 30 min from here, and I'm debating going there. Thanks!
