Big foot discrimination!

Don't faint people but I have a size 14-15 foot. Yeah their boats...ski's....whatever

At work we have a safety shoe mobile come in and I was pissed that they didn't have anything bigger than a size 13! Though they can order 14's for an extra 30 dollars...

Foot locker is the only place I know that keep maybe one or two pairs of some of the uglier ones in stock that no one wanted in the first place.

What's going on here? Are big feet so abnormal these days?
 
it could be worse i have a size 15w foot. Usually all my shoes are purchased at big and tall or online.

What kind of safety shoes do you need steel toe?

I need everything at work because it's a containment area. As in you can't track anything from the outside into the area.
 
Feel the same way about clothes. Most stores don't carry small, let alone extra small: the former looks like a dress on me. And there are no pants out there that I don't have to hemm. Even 5'4" people need clothes😉.
 
usually for semi-fashionable sneakers I will usually go to foot locker (most of them have a section in the back room just for the freakishly large shoes). Or I will order directly order from the manufacturer. For dress and business shoes big and tall usually has a good selection. As for hard core boot and steel toed boots i'm not sure i've never had to buy a pair. Surprisingly you can find alot of larger sized brand new shoes on ebay at a good price as well.
 
the fact that the demand for size 14 shoes is not as great as the demand for shoes that are size 11 or so are the reason they cost more.

has nothing to do with discimination, but rather with economics 😛

My sneakers have always been from the closeout rack at Nike. My Redwings were normal price, just special order; my Columbia hikers were ordered from zappos.com and again, I paid the same price as you little sonsabitches!
