Big Clearence at Target B&M

Stopped by my nearest Target today after seeing a few interesting clearence items posted on another deal forum. They had a larger than normal amount of clearance items in the electronics section. Counted four end caps filled with stuff when they normally only have one with a few items. They must be doing quarterly clearance. I'm going back tomorrow. 🙂

EDIT: Talked to one of the red shirts today and asked him about the big clearance. He said they are remodeling the electronics section to get ready for holiday season and making room for new items. This reminds me of the good old clearance days. Think I'll stop by two more nearby stores. 🙂

Stock is YMMV but price should be consistant. Red and white clearance sticker may not be up to date and might show higher price than ringup price at register. They had a bunch of console games but I did not get any since I don't have a console.

I'll try to keep this list updated if you post new items. This list is just a small portion of what I saw.

"20GB Western Digital Elements external hard drive - $30
HP DVD/RW 556s external writer - $22.50
Asus SDRW-08D1S slim DVD/RW external writer - $17.50"

Went to my local Target last night and the items above are on clearance but still priced higher than what OP stated. Hopefully, there will be no takers so price can go lower next week.🙂

What were the prices?

They had the Sony PRS-300 eReaders for $35 as well. All of my local stores are sold out but some people at Slickdeals are still getting lucky.

I picked up an Arc Mouse for $12.50 yesterday on clearance. They also had all of their solar lights 50% off along with a bunch of console games. I saw Prototype and Borderlands for $18 each (PS3).

Did you bring them to the register and have them price scan? The WD external I picked up yesterday was red tagged at $41.98 but rang up at $29.98. I almost didn't buy it because of the higher tag price.

Snagged a few of the external hard drives for I think $34.33 or something close to that.

Already resold them when I got back to work.

Nice post.

This is the version on clearance. Probably not the version you bought.

I stopped by my Target and didn't see any clearance of any kind in the electronics section.

Red shirts said they don't know about it...

Was it a Super Target? Ask them if they have reorganized for the holidays. One red shirt told me that they do this three times a year - before the summer, before school starts (I think) and before the EOY holidays.

my brother works at target, and informed me that his target didn't have any of the computer related components on clearance. apparently they were sold out before clearance started.

Sounds like normal Target clearancing. Be advised that not all stores are as aggressive on discounting when clearancing. So don't get mad, just try a different store.

I know the target near where I work had nothing on clearance in electronics, just got lucky at the one next to where I ate lunch.
