Those aren't doctors either.

MD is a doctor, everyone else should pick a different title.

How about "Professor" or "Research Scientist" or "unemployed with a doctorate in English so I can deconstruct this unemployment form on multiple levels"

Winnie Cooper is a nerd too

Nobody really thinks PhDs are "doctors" other than PhDs FYI 🙂

Come on! Do you know what it takes to earn a Doctorate? If you earn a title you are entitled to it! Doesnt mean you have to use it.

Im not putting you down as I dont know you, in fact I agree with you. There should be some distinction between an Academic Doctorate and an M.D. Also, A PhD in Education is no where near the work a PhD in a science is.

I've always been a believe that academic doctorates should be "Doctor" and medical doctorates should be "Physician" or "Surgeon" as applicable. However, doctor is colloquially "medical doctor" so there we are. 😛
