Bah, screw burgers... I'll just go down the street to Zaxby's and have me some of the best damn chicken i've ever eaten. Anyways, if I wanted burgers, i'd go to BK and get me some plain whoppers.

Men can not catch Mad Cow Disease ....

Cause we're all Pigs..

Sorry Couldn't resist.

Don't forget to ask for the extra packets of Mayo. McD's
gives them to you here if you ask. Ask enough times and
you have a jars worth in no time. Free Mayo :)
I love that artery clogging stuff.

Getinmyfatbelly,

You are either illiterate or not that smart. Read my post again. I wrote "Don't eat hamburger from CHEAP restaurants." That means McDonalds, Taco Bell, etc. where ever they cut corners to make a few more cents. You are better off eating steak sandwiches (which I prefer by the way) because beef cows have a different diet to produce fatter cows. Dairy cows are a risk. This is not a PETA thing. Eat all of the processed beef/pork/turkey/chicken you want. Just be smart about it instead of firing off moronic posts.

fdisk, first off BSE has never I repeat never been found in the USA. The ranch you spoke of in texas was sold some feed supplement that contained bone meal made from cows. It is important to understand that this is a compliance issue not a safety issue. The FDA prohibits the feeding of animal derived protein supplements. Further more the bone meal in question was produced from U.S. cattle, where there has never been a case of BSE.

Second the BSE agent has only been found in central nervous system tissue, including brain, spinal cord and retinal tissue. The BSE infectious agent has never been found in muscle meat or milk, which is the principle way beef is consumed in this country.

Third, after 10 years of study by the USDA, of suspicious animals, They have never found BSE or anything similar in U.S. cattle.

Fourth I don't remember the exact number but I think it is less than 10 people worldwide that have died from this.

Fifth I am sick and tired of the media and snakeoil salesmen making a mountain out of a molehill. These people that are propagating these lies are trying to bring down the beef industry because they don't like the cattle being treated like cattle.

Maybe you should read some facts before you spread lies about something you know little about.
Yes I raise cattle and I am mad as hell about this issue. If you want some facts go to http://www.bseinfo.org/resource/index.htm

The Big and Tasty has been around for a while in the west coast... but it hasn't been anywhere else. I guess the west was a trial market.

You'll notice some fine print in the commercial... read that and it'll verify what I said. :)

As for burger places... In n' Out and Fatburger are the best places to get burgers.

Taco Bell doesn't serve burgers...;-)

"Dairy cows are a risk"

Most people don't eat dairy cows, they drink or eat their milk products.;-)

"100% of confirmed BSE cases have concluded with death of the patient."

My simpleton guess would be because the diagnosis was made, most of the time, during the autopsy - hence, a dead patient.
