nope, its there to enhance your cleanliness, not make a horrific mess you use toilet paper first, then you wash up. its very logical. think about how clean your really getting with just toilet paper. if you got poo on your hand would you just rub it with toilet paper and declare it clean? hehe hell no!! americans are dirty.

I've been to Europe and used one for the first time there. When I buy my house, I will have one installed. I consider it the best damned "Add-On" to the bathroom since the crapper. I only wish I had one now.

There are toilet seats made to replace your current seat with ass washing as well as drying functions. Some models also have an electric heater to keep the seat warm during winter.
