We didn't know the full details of its size or scope during the Bush administration, but just as many would have opposed it earlier. Unlike you and many of the partisan point-scorers on this board, not all of us base our support or opposition to a policy based upon which party occupies the White House. If your first inclination is to figure out who you can blame rather than who can fix it, then you're part of the problem. Wanting Obama to fix it now while not absolving Bush for blame (or Obama for that matter) aren't mutually exclusive.

I am not among those who are selectively outraged by this depending on who was President - my point was that the poster I was quoting very likely is. Personally I am not outraged by this, regardless of who is President.

And you and many other wing nuts in here bash the president whether he deserves it or not so I guess there is balance.

Also if you post has nothing to do with this topic, why bring it up? Or are you simply supplying me with more examples of you adding ZERO to the conversation?

you are like a little yappy dog that needs a swift kick in the ass to STFU.

Agree with Biden, and agree that patriot act still needs to be deleted and that I would rather take chances with "terrorists" than the US government.

Unfortunately there are very few of those that are against the patriot act, including both Biden and Obama.

Besides Ron Paul the only other 2008 candidate that was against it was Mike Gravel(D), and neither had a chance in hell of being elected.

Yes, I am sadly aware of this.

I tend to be pretty liberal on most things, but, I am not authoritarian on most subjects, so I would honestly consider a libertarian over most democrats (and all republicans).

I wouldn't for the main fact that A) their ideas have zero chance of being implemented B) they but business rights over protecting the consumer.

I wonder if Biden's ass is hurting right now. Because from where I'm standing it looks like his own words just bit him in it hard. Funny thing is he was completely right when he said this. Obama needs to realize those of us who voted for him don't want this out of him. This is the shit the last guy did that pissed us off (well, some of it, the last guy did A LOT of dumb shit).

LOL. have you forgotten all the bull shit lately that oblama didn't "know" about?

and it's only been a YEAR since he got back in office.

I'm a libertarian, but I'd vote for a green or socialist candidate before I voted for an R or D. Given power, I have little doubt that any of those other parties would eventually become just as corrupt as the big two at which point I'd have to find another marginal party to vote for, but that's why I'm a libertarian to begin with. Government is a necessary evil, but it is most definitely evil, and not to be trusted.

Give the Leaker the presidential award for freedom.

Arrest McCain as a traitor along with everyone else in congress who knew about this as an accessory of violating our Constitutional rights. Search and Seizure without a warrant is illegal.

It doesn't matter what administration it started under. It's been the direction our Federal government has been going for a long time. Those who think it's a partisan issue are sheeple. They're in on this together regardless of what is being said.

So this is why drug dealers steal cell phones and buy pre-paid ones with cash. Hmm... :awe:
