Yup it’s a wonder the neglect by Pence and others in the cabinet to not 25A his ass. But Stephen Miller likes playing puppet master, so I see why he puts up with this moron since it’s the only way he’ll have any power

It's clear the media likes to overplay Biden's gaffes while sometimes entirely ignoring Trump's.

So far I have not seen one compelling reason for Biden to meekly shuffle his way onto the debate stage.
 
Well if past history is prophetic, Trump is going to stomp on whatever Biden is trying to say in order to literally shut Biden out of the debate while violating every rule he agreed to pre-debate. Trump will lie his ass off with every bullshit talking point he's ever said and he will do it incessantly and loudly. He'll try to drown Biden's voice off the airwaves and keep attacking him with nonsensical hit bits that his supporters all know and love and that's the only thing that matters to them. They don't want the dirty truth about Trump to be revealed as always and having Trump drown Biden out of the debate is going to be ecstatic for them. It's what they want and Trump will give it to them. It's the only way he can defend his miserable moronic term in office.

All they have to do is mute Trump's mic. Good moderation of a debate goes a long way.

Also, because trump has been waiting 4 years, and he has no impulse control, he is liable to make a fool of himself
 
Y'all forgetting that after his childish behavior in the first debates in 2020, in the following debates they just shut off his mic when it wasn't his turn?
 
Biden needs at least 4 or 5 debates. No matter how many senior moments uncle Joe has. Trump will not disappoint with his behavior. I would even suggest 6 debates, it's Biden's only chance at winning in 2024.

So far Trump is spending his time lowering the bar for Biden again just like he did in 20. So as long as they don't roll a casket out on stage with him in it he can clear. Once it is apparent that he is not, in fact, literally deceased they'll say he was on drugs again.
 
Biden-Harris campaign has accepted a CBS invitation for a VP debate. This probably completes what they are willing to do.

Apparently a lot of grumbling from Trumpworld about how they've stolen their thunder here.
 
I think they're having a special on Amazon. They probably need to update the date to 2024.

I'm on record earlier as saying these "debates" are worthless as a pile of crap. Less so, because at least the pile might become fertilizer.

Or, they should be looked at that way. It's like me holding a sack race around the conference table in order to pick a new programmer. Entertaining, tells me nothing about how the winner might do the actual job. I've never held an interview with a candidate where the opposition is there flinging insults and interrupting. But anyway.

But Joe has to agree to "debate", because if he doesn't it will be held against him by the moronic public who might actually use these jokes to pick their horse. Or people who don't actually have even the tiny bit of attention span to watch even these, but who would see headlines that Biden is too scared/too old/too full of Alzheimers to attend. I find that ludicrous, but that's the public for you.

Terribly? The election was way too close for comfort. You live in a la la land where Biden demolished Trump in 2020, as you've said many times. This is why we can't have nice things, people don't live in reality.
