meh. where is the admonishment to moonbeam who started the name calling? i can't blame nick for retaliating.

yes the excuse is tiring. its getting old move on and stop blaming bush. we all know he was a sad excuse for a president but its time to move on.

How about the excuse that you useless Republicans keep talking as if you were the American people instead of America's ass end. Obama won the election by a majority, not McNoBrain. You get awfully touchy about being called on a lie. And look at the brilliant and documented response Thick1985 came back with:

" No, I am not in the minority you retarded piece of worthless horse shit."

Hehehe The lying fuck is in the minority and can't undo his lie that way.

There wont be anything against moonbeam. Just goes to show the leftist views of this board.

Don't worry too much about me. I didn't call for violent revolution when Bush was President and I won't be joining the massively lunatic right in any push for that now. You assholes out to take a better look at yourselves if you don't like being called names. You wack jobs call me names and it makes me laugh. I call you names and you go hysterical. You fucking pansy bullies get all upset when somebody deals you what you dish. Fuck you. Your manure is fertilizer in my garden of thorns. But please oh please, don't throw me in the brier patch.

Hehehe

PS I have a thread up on why the right and the left is insane but it is ignored because it's kind to assholes and they much prefer a kick in the teeth.

You need to calm it too Moonie

Well, I'd say he's partially right. This country was left in a hell-hole when Bush left so people weren't exactly in a happy mood.

Oh, and by what logic does that explain how the approval ratings dropping by a large amount since the inception of this administration? If Bush left the public in a cynical mood towards government, then how does that explain the approval ratings and sentiment first going through the roof when Obama was sworn in, then steadily dropping since? It would be much more logical to assume that initial exuberance, hope & change etc gave way to the realization that this administration is no different than any other - corrupt, stupid, wasteful.

Seems like just more Biden stupidity.

George W. Bush!

VPOTUS blamed the George W. Bush administration for any unpopularity the current administration has suffered.

“We inherited a cynical republic, and I can’t blame them,” he said.

“Eight years of collapse, eight years of being misled about wars.”

He cast the Republican political strategy since last January as irresponsible cynicism., and boasted that the recent passage of health care reform might dispel it.

“They [Republicans] still believe cynicism will prevail, that the government can’t do anything, that we’re a bunch of socialists – all these things you hear. I think the healthcare debate put a big stake in the heart of that argument.”

Biden is right, and the right wingnuts are still in a state of denial about the crimes committed by your mercifully EX-Traitor In Chief and his criminal cabal of traitors, murderers, torturers, war criminals, war profiteers and general incompetents.

The Bushwhackos murdered thousands of American troops in their war of lies in Iraq and shredded the rights guaranteed to every American citizen by our once honored, once valued U.S. Constitution. We USED TO BE the good guys in the world, the ones everyone else looked to as a shining example of what could be accomplished in a democracy.

Then came the Bushwhacko turds who were as close as this nation ever came to Hitler's totalitarian dictatorship. We will be living with, and paying for, the damage they did to this nation for generations.

You know I can post one of my "'macros" to make the case, including names, dates, actions and applicable law.

What he's saying is common sense actually. Public opinion tends to track the economy, and if you don't think they inherited a clusterfuck, you haven't been paying much attention.

When exactly are they going to claim ownership of the economy, and the political climate in general? At some point, they have to.

I recall people saying that the economy and country was entirely President Bush's at the beginning of his second term.

They will only claim it if it ever gets good again and their politics are guaranteeing that it never will......
It was bad enough hearing all the "Bush is satan" BS for 8 years and now we have to listen to all the "It is Bush's fault" BS.
These children need a spanking!

Johnson paid for the douchery of Eisenhower and Kennedy.

Nixon paid for the douchery of Eisenhower, Kennedy and Johnson.

Ford, Carter and even Raygun paid for the douchery of Nixon and Arthur Burns. Bush41 and Clinton paid for the douchery of Raygun.

Dubs didn't pay for anything :D

Now, Obama and likely Pres45 & 46 (and America) with have to pay for the douchery and train wreck that was George W. Bush.

Yawn. Lots of hyperbole, innuendo and supposition in that.

Our current economic malaise is the direct result of the encroachment and adoption of republican policy over a period of 30 years. The GWB presidency was merely the high water mark of a well financed and executed campaign stretching back for decades.

Funded by whom, you might ask. By these people-

Righties generally have no idea how thoroughly they've been expertly manipulated because they can't even approach the idea that maybe they have been...

Who funds and publicizes Tea Party events, anyway?

Same-same, that's who-

And you need your diaper changed. It took the TeaBaggers to give the loons (like you apparently) a voice. Keep talking, America is listening...

Righties can't actually see that chart, yllus, let alone comprehend it. It's just a colored blob on the page. They believe otherwise, and that's that.

linked article said:
That massive increase there at the end is due to two things: growth in spending on Medicare and Medicaid, and growth in interest payments on the debt. But the real problem is Medicare and Medicaid. By about 2070, spending on Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid alone will outstrip revenues.

Thank god someone built a time machine that allows us to see 60 years into the future.

We don't need no stinking time machine. Math works as a reasonable approximation when you project future trends from past trends, current data and known, already mandated expenditures.

If you want to thank some ooga booga deity, thank her for the intellect to observe and record history, to handle arithmetic and apply logic and reason, and pray that our leaders are wise enough to try to avoid the problems that intellect allows us to foresee.

The other half I blame on partisan nutballs like you who hate everything a Democrat does without concern for what it actually is, even if it in reality was originally a Republican idea.. Sort like the new health care laws, eh?

How exactly does cutting taxes cause a deficit again?

Hasn't the majority of the TARP money been repaid?

This post just exemplifies the ignorance on your side of the debate. If you can't figure out how tax cuts impact a federal deficit, just stop posting.

A deficit is caused by spending, not allowing people to keep more of their own money. Not understanding that fact shows the ignorance on your side.
