Seriously everyone I have ever met from Iran has been absolutely wonderful. My #1 wishlist item is to visit the country to appreciate its beauty and history.

What do you think of the impression people have that a supposedly drug free state like Iran is full of youths who go around beating people who oppose religious authorities.

Iran and the US have a common problem. Freedom is dangerous without responsible citizenry and responsibility is not possible without freedom. The free are always tempted to abandon responsibility when it is imposed by authoritarians because authoritarians are infected with a sickness.

We live in a world where conformity to law is imposed by intimidation and thread and not by the love of the good that is inherent to the divinity within us. We are taught instead not to love that within us but to believe that if what is within us expresses we will go to hell.

All of this creates a Karmic wheel. The oppressed seek freedom which creates chaos which creates oppression. The US and Iran are at different places on that one wheel.

So the question I have for you is do you think it is possible to awaken love and end fear?

But it still works every single time on this forum so why would they bother putting in any more effort? I hardly have an exciting life, and yet I can think of dozens of things that would be better use of my time, including literally just taking a shit. But this forum responds endlessly to every, single, one, of these low effort trolls.
