Hello!
Have you used auction sites like eBay, Yahoo! auctions, Amazon auctions etc. ? If yes, then please read on¡¦

We are a group of researchers at the University of Maryland at College Park that are conducting a study of feedback systems at various auction sites. As a participant at one of these sites we are contacting you for this research. We have prepared a brief questionnaire that will take no more than 10 minutes of your time to complete. We would appreciate your help in this regard. In return, we will enter your name in a drawing for a raffle for a cash award of $100. You will also be able to sign up for obtaining the results of the study if you desire. Your responses will remain confidential and only aggregated results will be reported.

The survey can be answered by accessing the following URL:

Thanks for your help. We apologize if this post is inappropriate for this forum.

Thank you for your kindly reply. But I really want to get more people to help me to finish the research. By the way, you may get $100. Is that a hot deal to you?

"May" is the key word here. It's not a hot deal. It's more like a sweepstake. If it were a guaranteed 100 dollars, then for sure it would be a hot deal to me. Goodluck with your survey though.

maybe they are not familiar with doing research
BEFORE THEY POST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:disgust:

I can just imagine the wording from such a ?'scientist'?

I feel sorry for them if they are basing their finding on these results, you know how hot deal folks are with surveys. :)
