prices are out of control. I was hoping to get something, but theres no way

They are pretty much where I figured they'd be at. Never thought anything would be "cheap". Its one of the most popular shows in TV history.

Now Kate's outfits for $200 are...umm... "tempting" >:)

Mmm... Kate's outfits

Unfortunately they have been washed, so her scent is probably not on them anymore. I'm tempted to get a set and spend the week patiently sniffing every centimeter of the outfit in search of any trace of her. Tempted.

except they aren't $200. the estimates on there are way off. everything has been at least double or triple, and most stuff is a lot more than that

They don't say either if the outfits are COMPLETE. Everything seen on camera and everything NOT seen by the camera ;)

I have the magic box that runs the island already.

But I wouldn't say no to a hieroglyphics countdown clock. Even the ThinkGeek alarm clock one would be alright with me.

I have to admit I would sort of like a Dharma jumpsuit, but not for 100 bucks.

I'd love to sniff Evangeline Lilly's set chair. Did she ever have any bikini scenes?

Gross.

I get being attracted to Evangeline Lilly, but I doubt her derriere gives off an appealing odor.

She is still human, after all.

This whole auction seems kind of shady. I guess some anal nerds have discovered that a few of the props in the auction were never on TV, some were just made during production so the crew could pick from a few to use. http://www.wired.com/underwire/2010/08/squirrel-baby-controversy/

its pretty obvious that there were multiples of MANY of the items in the auction. there are even some multiples for sale. charlies DS ring for example, and you can bet that there are more than 2 in existence.

now, that doesn't mean its not a bit dissapointing. for example, penny's letter to desmond was a really cool part of the show. I looked at the auction page and the actual letter than desmond reads in the show. Its a different copy. I'm sure there are multiple locke suicide notes to jack as well. as much as I'd love to have a copy of either one, I can see why it wouldn't be easy to spend $6,000 on something that really wasn't the same thing we saw on screen.

everything was so expensive that I don't have to worry about it though lol

I think the main issue the hard core prop collectors have with the auction is that the company didn't put the time or effort into researching if the exact item was on screen. At first they said the squirrel baby was seen in the episode and only changed the description after it was proven that it was not seen on camera and this prop was from this season. Just consider where the props from the early seasons have been stored and the likelihood of on screen props and production only props getting mixed up.

Anyway, I want that Dharma welcome photo and I hope they make replicas someday. Anyone registered want to check the price it went for?

example of some of the prices

12 dharma beer cans sold for $5,000. plus 20%...

there was absolutely nothing "cool" from the show that didn't sell for at least $2,000 or so, and most was more
