It's not really proof, its jsut evidence towards a hypothesis. You can't PROVE your mother loves you.

a scientific proof is based on inferences, hypothesis, observations, and scientific laws

my proof is based on all of those...

How does that prove it though. Its nor proof of the existence of love, its just your mother telling you she loves you. How can you be sure she is telling the truth. If you asked a random person whether THEY loved you and they said yes everytime, does that mean they love you?

That's it, there are no scientific laws when it comes to love. You are simply gathering observations that tends to lead to the conclusion that your mother loves you. Let me give you an example.

Fermat's Enigma. a^n+b^n=c^n is not true for N>2

You can plug in a crap load of numbers and it will all not true. But the proof took over a hundred years because people could never be sure. Just because you can find loads of evidence, doesn't mean you proved anything.

throughout my life, ive asked my mom many questions.... id say 99% of the time, they are true
and of course i have found out later on they are true, depending on the question

from past experiments of asking questions to my mom, chances are that the next experiment is still going to prove true

The way I love women is not the same way I love my dog. Love has a lot of meanings. Most of the time, it's proven through action.

I think what hes trying to say is that knowing God exists is not based on scientitifc proof, but something you feel. And since you've never felt that, its not possible to explain it to you. LIke explaining color to a blind person

why do you feel god exists yet you have no proof... there are people out in this world that are so religious and believe in so much of the devil and hell that they change their way or life so much.. and why? cause you have a feeling? thats a stupid reason...

If you choose not to believe that's fine. If I chose to believe it "should" be fine too.

After all, the visable proof that the unbelievers want to see will either be seen or not
seen after death and nobody is coming back and talking from there as far as I know

I have to say, spending a year at Duke with a bunch of Christians really broadened my views. Not to say im converted, but im much more open minded
