I've got a BH6 is rev1, SS BIOS, and MSI MS-6905 Master v2.3 slocket, currently running a Celeron FCPGA 600/66 at 900/100, looking for the fastest Celeron I can put in w/ no mods. What's the fastest CuMine Celeron? What's the fastest 66FSB Celeron?

How hard is the mod for this slocket to use a Tualatin? Are any Taulatins 66FSB? Will my PAL 6035 HSF work (if not getting a retail Taulatin)?

Also why is the CPU jumper (J3) on the slocket labeled Single Processor, or Coppermine 256K, if CuMines are 128K?

According to the thread Budman linked (long, I only had time to read 1st page), and a thread on oc-forums linked from that thread, several BH6's and BE6-II's burned up after installing Tualatins (FCPGA2), and at least one or two using P3's at 1Ghz and up.

According to this chart, the fastest Coppermine (FCPGA) Celeron, thus the fastest I guess I can run without fear of blowing my BH6, is 1.1 GHz. Or I wonder if running a Tualatin and lowering the voltage is safe. I haven't checked my mosfet #'s yet. Will when I get home.

If going with a Coppermine, the 1.1 is a Coppermine, and the 1.1A is Tualatin even though it's FCPGA (not a FCPGA2), correct? I thought there was a 1.2 Coppermine Celeron (not listed on intel page)?

yup, highest cumine was a celeron 1.1ghz (11 x 100), FCPGA. tualatins came in 1.0a, 1.1a, 1.2a and up, FCPGA2.

I read somewhere that the 1.1A was a FCPGA Tualatin, and the chart I linked to seems to show that.

The Slot-T is only $20. That and a Tually are still the best setup for a BX.

My mosfets are 45N03, so I don't think I'll risk it, unless it's confirmed that lowering voltage prevents possibly burning up the board.
