damn, this is tempting

I've got some Value VX that didn't turn out to be real gems (they work and are solid, but they just don't go that high/tight, even with a lot of volts) this would easily be even better.

However I'm looking more towards getting 2GB than 1GB, I dunno... this is rough :p

It would rule if you did nothing but winrar all day :p

Memory barely makes a difference for AMD cpus.

Awesome RAM! I think I'm gonna hold out, though. I'm waiting for a nice 2GB kit. (2-2-2-5-T1, ~2.9v, @250+)

I'll probably be waiting a long time. ;)

dat's not completely true in regards to the in-built memory controller ..
ram may not matter as much anymore... but u should have a ram to keep up w/ ur OC...
using anything less than DDR150 divider gives u somewhat of perf. penalty...

If money wasn't so tight right now I'd jump on it even at $140. Actually I did jump on it, but not for myself. :) Maybe I'll stick it in my computer and see how it does before I give it to it's future owner. ;)

Yeah, I'd probably prefer 2GB of ram with an X2, I could easily see pushing the limmits of 1GB with multitasking.

Really? You're awesome dude! Most I've ever used was 770MB... course I never played FarCry while encoding and downloading all at the same time either.

i have the mushkin c2's, i haven't burned them in yet, they do 200-2-2-2-6@3.1 volts, they will pass at 1.5 but it doesn't show a difference in memtest

Take that hyperthreading:p

Seriously you ***NEED** an X2. Course you have the same board I have which is unsupported ATM at least.:( So maybe not.. this is a very expensive upgrade least comparitivly (new CPU/MOBO/Vcard $1260). I used to build whole systems for half that in the "good old days" of Socket A.:disgust:

Yreah, money is a bit tight though... need book and food money for the fall...

Really, I hardly ever have that much crap going though. Maybe F@H, AVG (just the sheild, not scanning), and CS:S... Still I can getbinto the 800s or so.

Depending how much books are going to cost, I may be able to pick up a DFI Ulra-D and X800Xl. Maybe I could even get myself a cheap X2 (3800+ probably). It really depends on the amount of money I am going to need...

I ran them for a couple months on a NF7 at 2-2-2-11-2T around 3 volts, the mushkins seem to need to get worked in, OCZ probably worked them a little already
