BFV Connection issue

So I bought a new laptop on Black Friday. It's an MSI GL63 8RE-629. So it's got a Core i7 8750H, 16GB DDR4, 6GB GTX 1060, 128GB SSD and 1TB 7200 RPM HDD. I'm very happy with it except for one problem.

The lag in Battlefield V is atrocious and I can't figure out why. My pings are showing 192, 233 and 286. It's not an ISP or home network issue. I have 150Mbps down and 5Mbps up service through Comcast (Speedtest.net shows 9 ping and 180 down and 12 up). The laptop was plugged into my home network via an ethernet cable, which I usually use on my desktop (where pings are showing 32-35).

It's not a framerate issue, the game is running smoothly.

I've already configured the firewall to permit BFV on both public and private networks.

My laptop previously had Norton antivirus preinstalled. I removed it and installed avast, which I have been using on all my systems for years with no issues.

Other games such as World of Warships run fine (75+ FPS with all settings maxed, 30-50 ping in matches). I'm totally stuck on how to get this working. Any help would be appreciated.
