BFG life time warranty question?

I have a BFG ti 4200 i got from best buy about 2 years ago alittle more maybe. Anyways the card has been great up till about a week ago. The fan seems to be dieing because it doesnt like to start with the computer i have to open the case and litterally spin the fan before it will begin spinning on its own. I havent called BFG yet becuase im not sure it will be worth the wait for a new card.

So first off is how is their so called lifetime warranty? Is it really lifetime?

Also how long is the turn around time on there stuff or do you even have to send it in sometimes?

And finally ive heard rumors that alot of older cards like this when you send them in you might get back something like a 6600 or a 5900.

I know i need a new card anyways but i cant quite afford one right now and im not sure if it will be better to just send this back to bfg or go out and pick up a gfx cooler.

1) Yes the warrenty is good as long as the company is in business
2) I'm not sure
3) Sometimes if they don't make the card anymore they will replace it with a newer one I think

BFG wont give me user feedback they will give me the feedback that makes them look good. I will be giving them a call on monday though.

bfg tech support really annoyed me. they were hard to get an update from and didn't know when they'd shipped a replacement (was given 2 different dates, neither being right and no tracking info). but they did take care of my claim, altho it was on a new time. turn around for me was about 2 weeks.
