Hopefully someone could help me with this department. First of all i know that most every videocard brand is top notch for anyone's gaming desire, i could talk about every card and if they're are worth it or not. but..

My first question is, is BFG a good video card brand compared to all other brands such as evga and xfx???

Furthermore just so you guys know, i have recently (as what the title is about) ordered a BFG GTX 8800 OC videocard and shoud be receiving it very soon from the mail. Did i make the right choice in brand name?

And if i did, what are its know strengths and weaknesses (if any)?????

Good company. Although you might have been better off with an EVGA card because of their step-up policy. I strongly believe a refresh of the 8800s that you can step-up to will be available in the coming months.

Other than that, excellent choice. 1st class support + 1st class card = winner

EVGA and BFG are the two best card brands available IMO. Most like the EVGA simply because of the step up, but if you already bought the 8800gtx oc, there is not a whole lot for you to step up to. Be happy with your BFG card!

I would rank them like this:

1) EVGA
2) BFG

Anyway, as long as it is an 8800GTX and it works...you are good to go, well set for a long time to come.

Keep in mind that the card are not made by the companies that sell them. So you are really just buying customer service/ step up/ warranty.

Well the first NVIDIA card I purchased since the GeForce 2 was the BFG 7800GTX that I loved.

The second was the eVGA I currently have, and while both have no issues in terms of hardware, I have to say the packaging for the BFG was more secure and extravagant. Though eVGA did give me Dark Messiah.

The coolest looking cards are the XFX ones, but they also seem to have worst rep.
