Just got back from frys to get some of those Ballistixs for 30 bucks and came across the BGF 8800GTS512 for 259 with a 30 dollar rebate. This was in the Indianapolis Frys and upon checking the ad it was listed at that price as well. Amazing price for a great card. With that GTX for 300 and the crazy sales going on right now its a great time to game ^^..

The 8800GT is faster than the old 320/640 MB 8880GTS. But the new 512MB G92-based 8800GTS is faster than the 8800GT.
 
Sadly the 100 off is at B&M only as far as I can tell. You know, if you wanted to you could PM this at BB with a special order from the online only BFG8800GTSOC. Few best buys sell them at the store but you can special order them. Best Buy recently has adopted a 100 percent price match policy so if you went to a store and did a online order instore the manager should apply it. The frys B&M deal is avail till tuesday if they last.
 
I picked up the last one at the City Of Industry Fry's store. Damn good deal if you asked me.

In-Store Price
$359.99 - $100 Instant Savings = $259.99 - $30 MIR = $229.99 AR.


Mines comes out to be $251.44 after tax and rebate.
 
This was an unbelievable deal! I was about to purchase an 8800GT until I saw this. Went to my Frys (Plano, TX) and they had at least ten of these on the shelf but without any discount on the price tag. Thinking it wasn't on sale at this store, I took it to the check out anyway to get a price check...sure enough $100 instant rebate + $30 mail in rebate! Couldn't resist that.

It seems to be a national thing with people getting it on both coasts and the midwest, I would check and call the local frys if you dont want to make the trip.

DAMN YOU>.... 🙂 j/k, I thought about going over there, but decided I don't need another card.
GT 512 price has dropped well below $200 as well so hopefully this will continue..
 
Wow... prices are very very nice. Let's hope that the new price for high end cards will revert to ~$300. I remember I picked my brand new Diamond Monster 3DII 12MB for $300 at Best Buy back in the day. And remember getting my brand new Asus Geforce2GTS for $300 as well.
 
Not bad at all should I get upgrade to this, sense it is such a good deal, from my Geforce 8800 GTS 320 MB? Before I do is there any good EVGA Geforce 8800 GTS 512MB video cards that have close to as good of a deal for the step up ? If I can find a new Geforce 8800 GTX for $299 new I may get that instead for the extra video ram. I rather have 768 MB of video ram.
 
There was a GTX for 299AR at new egg yesterday but I believe the price went back up as of saturday morning. Crazy thing Is I bought one and then got in on this deal....my wife is gonna kill me.....
