Wow that's cheap. Too bad its not passively cooled or I'd jump on it (would make a perfect HTPC card otherwise)

I got in on this a few months ago from the Buy.com deal. Unfortunately, it has a bunk fan. It worked for a while, and then went crazy and started rattling incredibly loud.

I'm not crapping tho. I've loved all of my previous BFG products, and am thinking about snagging another one. This is a steal. I have no fear that BFG will get me a good card under warranty.

In fact, I slapped this into one of the $50 Fry's Celeron deals. This plays WoW SILKY SMOOTH. Excellent combo for an entry level gaming PC.

It doesn't say if it has 128-bit memory interface.
The manufacturer's product page doesn't say, but says 12.8GB/sec memory bandwidth at 800MHz data rate.

So that's 128-bit right? 128/8 * 800 = 12800

remember, DDR is a read while rising and while falling. That makes 64-bit

Thanks OP

Got in on this a 2 weeks or so ago, on the last rebate.

The card is running 2 of the Hanns-G 22 inchers from Staples right now as I type this with excellent result.

I don't game so I can't comment on the cards performance there, but $25 is a steal IMO.

No, I accounted for that. That's what it means when it says it has an 800MHz data rate... that's a double pumped effective data rate. The actual memory frequency is 400 MHz. So it might be 128 bit.

No HDCP, so no it is not the perfect card for a HTPC (assuming you want any HD goodness on there anyway).
