BFG 7800 GTX $491 shipped free!

I bought a whole computer with a 2.8Ghz P4, 160GB SATA,128MB PCIE card and Soundblaster Live card for $429 3 months ago. My point is, this card is FREAKING expensive. 😛 If you're willing to sell a kidney, go ahead and buy. Otherwise, it's too high for me. 😉

Save another 2% if you use your Dell Preferred Account and pay no interest on payments until 2006!

Use FatWallet.com to get 3% cash back, too!

$464 before tax/shipping w/ all those rebates.

Great deal (IMO) if you want to upgrade.

Either way, this card was $600 just a week ago.

Damn you OP...

I was thinking about getting 1 of these cards, and just couldn't resist.

The $65 off coupon was just enough Vaseline...

But then the Gov took a nice big bite. bastards

Maybe all you do is surf the net.

There are those that need all that power to run their 2005fpw at native 1680x1050 while playing the latest games.

Or 2405fpw at native 1920x1200. 😀

Forward it, right 😉
j/k Thanks for the offer, though.

I like to complain about tax, but the way I see it they are going to get it one way or the other.

This is very tempting. Although I think I may have talked myself out of it. My X800XL and 6800GT can already feed my 2405 fine, and I am waiting for Crossfire next month so I can use 3+ monitors for 3D gaming. I believe SLi is only able to do 1 or 2 monitors, but correct me if I am wrong. Also, I would like to see if R520 does actually have 32 pipelines, then I would rather spend $1200 for 2*32 pipeline cards.

$429! You must be rich! Here is a computer for $149.

My point is...... it's all relative to want you want to do with your system. A lot of people want to play games at the highest setting and this is the best video card to do it with and last week it was $600.

Price will go down naturally once the R520 draws closer to release.

And the 7800GT will be released soon at an MSRP of $499.

Remember when the 6800 GT and Ultra were out, a lot of people saved some money by buying the GT and overclocking it.

I don't see how it would be any different for the current generation of 7800 cards.

exactly, in typical Dell fashion you'll be lucky to have the card before years-end
