BFG 6800GT PCIE on sale at Chumbo

NCIX shipped my A8N last week, but I got an email an hour ago from dttcomputer.com, because my name came up on the notification list. So apparently, they're getting theirs in, and going through the notification list.

btw, slash196, the only other bfg 6800 that I found mentioned in my search was a non-gt. those have been available readily for a while now. MSI has been selling them. The GT's have been COMPLETELY unavailable for less than 900 each. That's why I felt this was unique enough for it's own thread.

Fyi, for anyone who cares, my cards came in today (fedex 'overnight-weekend-or-whenever-mother-nature-cooperates'). They work fine, and I'm running in SLI.

How's the quality/performance of the BFG cards in comparison to the eVGA, XFX, or Leadtek cards? I've read reviews or heard good things about those three brands, but haven't heard a thing about BFG, and I'm a little leery about buying it.

It would be really nice to have some NF4 mobo's available also....

Have you seen all the problems/issues w/ the Asus A8N-SLI in the mobo section ? Think I'll wait for a single pci-e mobo or get a DFI 754 based mobo..

Regards,
Jose
