hi friends i want to know the video settings for bf4.i have asus gtx770oc and i5 2500k @stock.i want to stay at 60 fps constant so please guide and thank you

turn off MSAA, turn off HBAO/SSAO, You can leave textures and filtering on high. Set mesh quality to Ultra (it gives more visibility), and turn all other settings to low.

I have a 4670k (not overclocked) and an MSI GTX 770 OC, and it stays right around 60fps with everything set on ultra, MSAA on highest setting, HBAO enabled, at 1080p. Would his 2500k really be that much of a bottleneck to keep him from getting similar results to me with everything set on ultra?

Are you playing 64p mp? If so I'm not seeing your minimums at 60. Then again if the "only" concern is BF4 then we should have went for a GCN card and mantle support.

In the 12 hours this thread has been alive, I have to believe that just messing settings on your own would have been much faster.

lol, so very true. They could have gone to the store, bought a HSF, installed it, overclocked the 2500k, reformatted and installed win8.1, downloaded bf4 and played for six hours.

They consistently hover around 60 (I never said anything about 60 minimum), and yes, I'm talking about MP. I'm sorry, but there really isn't a difference between 50-60fps.

that low settings on gtx770 serious?

No, not if you want to enjoy the visuals of the game. VD goes for max FPS no matter the look, seems like you're trying to get the best visuals while staying above 60FPS.

We have similar systems, I run at a slightly lower resolution than 1080p (1680x1050), but I have everything on High/Ultra with 2xAA and I get around 45FPS for minimums. Averages in the high 60s/low 70s on the big maps.

I've heard going to Win8.1 can improve performance in BF4, but I've yet to get off my lazy ass and get it. You have a powerful setup, crank up the settings and enjoy. Don't needlessly stare at the FPS counter in the corner. 😉

The CPU should be fine. I have the same one and when playing BF4 i sit around 60% usage. I have an R9 270x and I have everything cranked. I get in the 50's generally.

I have an i5 3570k with gigabyte gtx 770 and I get min between 57-60 with everything cranked up. Everything is stock. I don't think he'll need to lower his settings much, just maybe msaa to 2x or lower.

In addition, I have adaptive sync on so I can't comment on what's average. It stays at 60 fps, 95% of the time.
