I would keep the 280x unless you can profit like others have said. The 280x (Outside of the mantle driver) is still a good card. I loved my 7970.
 
Downgrade just to record games???? 😵
I'd say keep the card you have. For BF4 (and potentially future games) you want more than 2GB of ram @1080.
 
The hell? The 2GB 760 is $300?

Is Newegg trying to go out of business or something?
