BF3 patch and PB

Hey guys, not sure if this is the right section to post this but I'll try anyway. I have been playing BF3 since day one without any major problems and I have had a blast. So now the patch comes out and I am super excited, I download the patch and join a server like I would normally do. After 2-3 minutes I am kicked because of a Punk buster Violation, so my first instinct is to update manually, which I do. Now I can't even join a server I am kicked because of a PB Violation. At this point I am pissed off royally.

I procede to un-install the game and re-install and try again, and once again I cannot even join a server via PB violation. I even tried un-installing PB via programs in control panel and doing a game repair in Origin, and this did not work. I am losing my mind with this and don't know what to do, as this has only been happening as of yesterday after the patch. Both of my other buddies have no problems at all, I mean WOW so pissed off. The only other thing I can think of trying would be another re-install and unchecking PB and then manually trying an install. Has anybody seen this issue since the patch and if so can anyone be of any assistance so I can join my buddies on the game.

Note: I read somewhere that the patch interferes with PB and disables PB "B" in services, not sure what that could mean.
Here are my specs in case that helps.

Core i7 860 STOCK
MSI GTX 580---> latest drivers installed
8gigs kingston
intel X-25M G2 80gig
Gigabyte board
Windows 7 home 64bit


If anyone has any ideas it would ne greatly appreciated, because I am at the point of giving up...
 
I can relate, had tons of those issues back in the RTCW days, and the fixes were always more involved than they should have been.

On balance, I think it was worth the pain for a good game and relatively few cheaters, but it certainly was aggravating.

The good thing is that the EB site is really good, and I'm pretty sure you'll get sorted out if you stick to it, it will just take a bit of effort beyond common-sense stuff you might try yourself, you'll have to communicate with them, do research, and follow the steps that come up, which may seem obscure, but it will work.
 
It could be also that most of the servers did not update to the current version of pb either. So those running an update might be connecting to servers running older PB software.

What do you mean PB was not changed. Does that mean there could be a client confliction between the servers and PB. I read somewhere that server updates could be completed today, so I will try installing one more time and if it doesn't work I give up and will go pickup Skyrim. I do have a feeling that obviously its something about the update and PB not being at the same client or wtv. Anyway I'll try re-installing tonight and un-check PB as part of the BF3 install and manually install it after, would that be a good try?

My first thought as well, some sort of server issue like this.

I believe that my Windows Firewall is never actually on, but to be sure I'll double check anyway. Either way like I said this only happened right after patch update and cannot join any servers at all now. Went from being kicked from 4-5 servers within 2-3 to manually updating PB and then not being able to connect at all..........unreal. It's just weird that most people seem to be having more common problems with black screens and crashes (hate to say this but I would rather at least be part of the general problems) VS my PB problems (just random)

That does make sense to me, but then why do both my buddies have no problems with PB although they do have black screen problems. Is this just another unlucky roll of the dice that I am having with the Patch + PB.
