bf3 or bfbc2

Can't go wrong with either game. (I reached L 50 in BC2, and Serv Star 100 in BF3) However, going forward, I would get BF3 as it's shelf life will be longer.

IMO, BBC2 and BF3 are the best FPS games out there now.

I didn't care for BF3 and BC2 is almost dead but you could still have fun on it, probably really cheap now.

I wasn't even sure if anybody could keep a straight face saying this. BF3 is essentially a stripped down, COD-ified version of BF2.
