BF3 @ Newegg $48 - 8/20 Only

I'm in for one. I've never pre-ordered a game before. You have to hand it to the marketing geniuses at EA to get me to pre-order the game. The maps included in the pre-order are too good to pass up and I don't want to pay extra for it as DLC. BF3 is going to be a sweet game!
 
Yah im in for this to. I know amazon.com will lower price at release if it changes, but right now its more at amazon.com so i canceled that preorder for newegg.com.
 
Interesting that they already have an expansion pack before the game is even released... sounds like a good deal, though!
 
I re-pre-ordered the game 😀 NE had it on special a month ago for $50 so I cancelled that and reordered for $48.

There's no guarantee Amazon will do release day delivery on pre-orders, but if they do, it's a few bucks (did it for BC2). I have it pre-ordered from Amazon just in case they offer it. Never seen release day delivery from Newegg, but their regular delivery is really fast.

To paraphrase newegg, they will ship the game on the day of the release and only if they have enough in stock will they be able to ship it to everyone. Basically it sounds like you will get the game a couple of days after its release. IMO this is not a bad thing. I can't remember a single game that hasn't had online server issues on release day. After a couple of days things seem to stabilize which will make it more pain free, which I like.
 
bad company is a different series then this game. youtube bf3 trailers and rethink the $2 comment. you will be missing out for sure.

I hope you mean BFBC2 and even then, you're in the minority. This has been an extremely popular title for awhile now...a great prelude to BF3.

Maybe you should try out BF2 and then rethink your stance.

well most games now are about $50 at debut. It's not like years back when it costs like $30. It's getting more expensive but the demand for games are also higher now.
