I don't know, jets in bf2 was easy enough with a keyboard mouse. It was not really hard.

It will prob have the same controls as Bad company 2, which was made simple to use with kb/m and it works perfectly.

i have a sidewinder force feedback 2 that still works...I just have to figure out how to get it running in win7 again.

Ya I still have my Sidewinder Pro but for some reason it hasn't been workiing with BF2 but looks good in the configuration tool in Windows 7.

I haven't played a battlefield game since Battlefield: 1942 but using a joystick for planes was instant win.

As to under $50 joystick, buy the Logitech mentioned at a store like Best Buy, get the extended - lifetime if possibble - warranty for the extra $5 and abuse the shit out of it. I returned my Logitech joystick three times.

It's actually a well featured, accurate joystick, just has shit durability.
