BF2142 Punkbuster problems...

Every time I join a server I can play for a few minutes, but then I get disconnected to the multiplayer menu with a box that says punkbuster.

I updated punkbuster and ran the test that is included in the Punkbuster Service Setup program. I have no idea why I keep getting kicked. Any ideas? This is driving me nuts...
 
well I've tried everything I could find on the EA support site, still doesn't work. I just sent and error ticket to evenbalance, hopefully they will know whats up...

Nope, was just asking cus i had the same problem because i turned it off when i went into msconfig.
 
I have had that same problem with punkbuster. Your ready to start a map and you get kicked for no reason. I usually ALT-TAB out to make sure Punkbuster has not caused a Windows error message then I go back into the game and rejoin that server I got kicked from and I am usually good the rest of the night.
