BF2 server admins

I've been playing bf2 for like 3 years and I've gotten to a point where I'm top 3 in any server I go. Lately people have been getting pissed off because they have 30 deaths and 3 kills and I have like 50 and 2 deaths. Sometimes an admin will kick me and read "vehicle whore" Then again BF2 is game with vehicles. :disgust:

In the last 2 weeks I've been banned out of few servers because I'm raping them on the f35. How are you going to get any good if you just fly with noobs? I'm not even that good of a pilot either. I'm good but not great. I've flown with many pilots that would easily take me down.

Anyway rant over. These childish admins who get pissed because I kill them but when they have a good round raping me on the heli it's a good round. :roll:

Umm it's been happening ever since online gaming started. If you are really good, they will suspect cheating or unfair play and kick you. Nothing new.

Well these guys know I'm not cheating. I've been playing there for a while. A month or so. 1 of the admin was getting pissed because I shot his sorry excuse for a Colonel being wild on a j10. He tried to talk shit how he was a good heli pilot and he didn't care for jets. Anyways I rape airfield yet everyone else does it when they can get both of the j10 down. I play everything by their rules but they get pissed I pwn them in their server and they can't do shit except get killed so they ban me.

Lots of people play just for fun. If it's not fun when you play there... for some reason they blame you, and want you gone. Go figure.

Reminds me of when I used to play a lot of COD 2. I remembered pulling off a few things that would probably have got me banned if an admin was there, and once or twice that did get me banned. One shot was in Brecourt where there is a large field that runs the length of the map. At either end is a thin line of bushes that you can run behind and hide. Except the distance from one end to the other was so long that the bushes were not drawn in unless you zoomed into iron sights. So I could see the guys running behind the missing bushes (for some reason the bushes were not outside the draw distance but not the tiny specs of the players), zoom in where they were covered by the bushes but still wing the shot and kill people if you could properly keep the lead.

On one server that I was playing regularly on I kept getting one over on one of the admins (didn't know he was an admin, it was a clan server). They didn't have killcam but when you died in the game the camera turns and centers on the guy that killed you from your "death" perspective. So when he's laying down in a tower far away on the map camping the spawn he suddenly finds it incredible that I can kill him after he's done me in once or twice, most people usually learned to move after taking a few sniper kills (best part was pulling it off using irons and not the scope. I couldn't see him but I knew where he was). I also learned that one rifle shot pretty much took away all your health if not killed you. So after firing at close range, instead of dancing around while I reloaded, I would just switch to pistol and finish it (dropping to prone spontaneously also mixed them up). Doing this on the guy was the final straw. Worst part was a lot the other players and I got along just fine.

I don't know. It wasn't so much skill as it was learning the best way to play the map or the game mechanics. It seems to me that it can really grate on people's nerves, especially when they know they're a faster shot. Eventually I found some servers that either didn't have a running community on them (and so nobody ever stuck around long enough to build up a running grudge) or had better players.

I go to a lot of different servers it's still the same thing. I've been banned from 3 different servers within the last 2 weeks. That's a record for me. Admin can easily tell me not to rape but no nothing. Kick usually consisting of some stupid reason and then ban if I come back. it's getting silly to a point I wish I was cheating.

There's only 2 servers I know there's competition but they don't always play at the time I want to play. There's only handful of pilots I know they can take me down that I know of. 99% of the pilots are just new pilots who can't keep up and they get pissed if I shoot them down.

apparently. I used to get killed a lot within the first 500 hours of bf2 but was I complaining? That's how you get good anyway by getting killed and what not to do.

I've been kicked a number of times from COD4. When you consistently beat someone, it means your cheating, not that you're a better player.

There's nothing you can do about it. Just move on and find another server.

Eh, it isnt fun to play on maps with really good pilots, because it takes all of the ground vehicles completely out of the game.

Back in the day before ventrillo my roomates and I played Tribes. We communicated by yelling down the hall. We got booted from a few servers for not allowing the other players out of their own base. This shit has been going on since the beginning of oneline gaming.
People's ego's get in the way of a good game.

True but that's what non air maps are for.

Infantry only servers are the only ones I used to play in for that reason. I'd rather have jet pilots fight jet pilots but when you have a pilot doing rounds bombing infantry all map.. it gets pretty damn annoying dying 4 seconds out of spawn every time. I'm more of a FPS than a Flight sim guy so it's not my character to jump into a jet and try to take them out.

I love sniping people right when they're about to take off in the plane. Makes me smile, but I get kicked because of it

I hate jet whores. If I were admin, I'd probably kick you too because well, the air battles don't contribute to what's on the ground and really just pisses people off. If you can't tell, I'm the type of person who will rape bases endlessly on the ground (as infantry) if no one good shows up to take me out.

Well if i was a server admin i would kick anyone who killed me, probably the main reason im not a server admin

Its just a game, who cares, find another server, maybe one without an admin so you can dominate everyone.

aah...so there's a nice alternative since there are servers which have more experienced players then. Too bad I can't play online much, broadband's so expensive where I stay.

You broke the unwritten rule of all servers "Don't kill the admin"

It's not noobs when i'm playing with clan members consisting of captain, major, colonel, generals. Maybe their whole clan suck with jets but i've taken every single one of them out. The entire game I'm raping them with the jet. This is what pissed off the admin.

Wow people still play bf2? I played the crap outta that like 2-3 years ago. Got to the point where I was being accused of cheating as well, but I was not jet whoring. Actually I think the aviator awards were the only ones I didn't have. Plus I almost never played vanilla bf2, only SF.

If people hate jet whores so much, that's why god invented bf2:SF

The game was fun, but the only reason I kept playing was because of the infantry only patch. That seriously saved this game and is probably why people are still playing it.
