BF2 patch 103 & Xfire

So with the new patch I can?t xfire in with my friends because usually when I log in it takes me straight to the server my friends are in but that D@mn message is totally stopping me! 🙁 Dose anyone know how to get rid of the message?

I haven't heard of a way to get around that message yet. You might have to just try logging into the game, alt-tabbing out, then go back via X-Fire. Don't know if that'd work, but good luck with a solution.

Go to the Xfire directory (C:\program files\xfire)
Open the file xfire_games.ini in Notepad
Search for the line LongName=Battlefield 2
Go down to the line that says:
Launch=%UA_LAUNCHER_EXE_PATH% +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 %UA_LAUNCHER_NETWORK_ARGS%

Change this to
Launch=%UA_LAUNCHER_EXE_PATH% +menu 1 +username yourusername +playerPassword yourpassword +fullscreen 1 %UA_LAUNCHER_NETWORK_ARGS%

Change yourusername and yourpassword to your own account.

Perhaps this has been mentioned elsewhere, but a similar fix will get The All Seeing Eye back to being able to launch games. See this EA UK forum thread.
