BF2 doesn't work properly on Vista 64

I reinstalled BF2 on my new system. The voice chat doesn't work at install. And the big problem is with servers. Most servers give me a "OS privliges" error, after waiting for the server to load, and I get booted. Very rarely, I can play on a server. It doesn't seem to make a difference if it is normal or rated "64". It took me over an hour last time to find and load a server that would work.
Any ideas or workarounds?

To run PunkBuster under Windows Vista you will need to run the game as an administrator. To do this, select the original game executable and right click it. Select "Properties", then the "Compatibility" tab. From that tab, check the box labeled "Run this program as an Administrator" and click OK. You need to follow these steps, even when you are logged in as admin, else the game will be started in user mode.

If you use a game launching program, like ASE or XFire, please use the same shortcut as explained above, otherwise the game will not be launched with Administrator privileges resulting in an "Inadequate O/S Privileges" kick.

Ah, damn. I'll give it a shot. I recently disabled UAC entirely becasue of some other conflicts, should work now.
