lazy8s has a good point too (one that i hadn't thought of).

no one forced you to buy bf2, and no one's forcing u to buy AF. if u don't like it, don't buy it.

i was stupid enough to buy SF and i learned my lesson, unlike many other people.

You're crazy if you don't like special forces. I don't like regular BF2 compared to Special Forces, now.

Some people don't like putting down money for shotty "expansions" that usually just break the already "working" game. Just a thought.

Well after a week of playing the expansion pack I can definately say its been worth it. I have about 10 hours of AF time, and have come to thoroughly enjoy all of the maps. Much more than I enjoy many of the BF2 maps every server seems to love (karkand).

I really like the alaska map, and its tactics. Very enjoyable indeed.

Did I get my 10 bucks worth... Definately yes.

I've had ZERO luck playing this game. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, uninstalled EA Downloader and reinstalled it, I got an MD5Error both times I tried to install Armored Fury, and it never lets a map completely load. It always, ALWAYS craps out and crashes to desktop. EA has been no help, this game looked like fun and well worth the 10 bux (never played Euro and bought it, sucker move on my part), but it's gone way past 10 bux worth of frustration.
I have no problems playing vanilla bf2, special forces, even euro crap if I choose, but armored fury never loads. Dammit.

I have been pretty lucky I have never had any issues with BF2 since I bought it..
except for server type bugs of course...

I know, it looked really promising, plus I lived in one of the areas of the maps (lancaster, pa). I've pretty much given up. I will NOT reformat my hard drive for a game, sorry, that's going a little too far, especially since every other aspect works perfectly (save for the sound loop crash 😉 )
