BF2 1.4 patch is out........

I was really looking forward too this patch to take out the tanks, jets, APC's ect...

Now all you got is 20+ people per team running around all playing the sniper kit 😕

The new map is pretty much made just for it 🙁

Ah well..Still got good 'ole Kirkland 😀

What? They made a patch to Remove the vehicles?

Isn't that what made BF so unique and successful?

Anyways, BF2 will always suck compared to BF1942.

I like the new map. It's good for snipers (good view of flags), good for anti-tanks (lots of places to hide), good for cars and buggies, good for SpecOps (good location of strategic objects to blow up). Yes, I like!

no, it adds the ability to remove the vehicles. so if you want infantry only maps, like karkand, sharqi, and mashturr should be (or at least jeeps/apc only), you can.

its doesn't remove every vehicle from the game.

Haven't tried the patch yet.. but if you don't even know that the map is Karkand, I can't take you too seriously...

Does it fix any of the crashing issues that has hampered thousands of players from playing online?

EDIT: Just read the fixes... Looks like nothing has been done to work on the crashing issues... I guess this means good-bye to Battlefield until possibly 2142 (if EA can get their crap together, I doubt it though).

Yes it does:

Increased server stability

I think that is more relating to the random server crashes that were common, not single users having their machine hard lock or crash to the desktop.

Kirkland is costco's house brand. The map is karkand, fool. 😉

It is actually DICE, not EA, that does the programming for BF2...A lot of people always blame EA when in fact the coding problems should be blamed on DICE instead. 😉

Not trying to defend EA, as their business practices are a bit shady at times, but I am just trying to set the record straight.
